Like India's first innings, the second innings too suffered a serious batting disaster at first. India batted in front of the lead of 164 runs given by South Africa and two wickets fell for 13 runs at the beginning. Rohit Sharma and Jaiswal failed in the second innings as well as in the first innings. If India collects even 300 runs in this innings then South Africa will definitely win this match. The first innings ended with just 245 runs as India's top-order batsmen failed and similarly the failure in the second innings made India's innings 250 in doubt.

After the South African team scored a massive 408 runs, I was sure that India would lose this match. Because India collected only 245 runs in the first innings. South Africa managed to take a big lead of 163 runs. But it was beyond my imagination that India would concede such a humiliating defeat. The Indian team could not even collect 163 runs in their second innings. India mustered only 131 runs in the second innings. Virat Kohli scored 76 and Shubman Gill scored 26 runs. Besides, none of the batsmen in the squad can collect 2-digit runs. 4 batsmen failed to add any runs to the scoreboard. Burger 4, Jansen 3 and Rabada take 2 wickets.

It is natural that Pakistan will be under pressure because Pakistan is a much weaker team than Australia. Pakistan lost the last match by a huge margin but in today's match, although they are much smaller so far, Australia still have 4 more wickets to play. And all Australian players are playing well so it is expected that they can collect atleast 100 more runs in the remaining 4 wickets then their total number of runs in 2nd innings will be 287+ out of which they lead in 1st innings by 54 runs then Pakistan will have to collect more than 350 runs to win the match. May need to win the match in the 2nd innings. It is natural that this will put a lot of pressure on Pakistan players

Pakistan's main weakness is that their batsmen are not in good form right now. The performance of any batsman in the squad is not regular. Experienced batsmen like Imam Ul Haque and Babar Azam are not batting well. This is why the Pakistan team is under a lot of pressure against Australia. Australia collected 318 runs in their first innings, but Pakistan managed to collect 264 runs. After losing 6 wickets in the second innings, Australia collected 187 runs, and now they are leading by 241 runs. 300+ target is likely to be given by the Australian team. And the chances of Pakistan team scoring 300+ runs in the last innings and winning are now very slim.

Lord also needs some soul searching and also needs to learn a thing or two about this mortal world, if not then just rip off the golden arm. No complaints to Anna, he did his job well with the ball.

Dominance of white ball cricket clearly showcased today's performance.

India failed to switch to Red ball format batting even after one month break since WC ended, KL and Virat who are technically strong knew how to switch, but all others were clueless and youngsters failed to prove even with their long first class career in India. Not many options left in the bench either for second test match unless they decide to give an opportunity for Mukesh to debut.

India really needs to groom some batters especially for Test and Pujara may not play any further team so India need to find some experienced players from domestic and groom them for International test team alone or else India will face such humiliation while playing against SENA in test series.

Both the Indian bowling and batting side failed miserably. Dean Elgar played an amazing 185 runs which was more than India’s 2nd innings run and almost half of the runs India scored in two innings combined. Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Jaiswal, Iyer, and other batsmen of India couldn't do much. Bumrah performed the way expected him to but the others let me down from the bowling unit. I thought this match would have been a 10vs11. But the Protease definitely proved me wrong by crushing the whole Indian team. India looked very miserable.

In the first Test match against South Africa, the Indian team scored 245 runs on the first day and lost a complete wicket. Next South Africa chased down India's target of 408 runs, which was truly a remarkable batting performance from South Africa. However, India lost all their wickets for 131 runs to fill South Africa's lead on the third day and South Africa lead by 32 runs today. In today's match the batsmen of the Indian team had a very bad batting performance due to which they did not play very well from the beginning till the end they were all out. Of course I think South Africa will play well in the second innings and beat India in the first Test match.

Indian players are playing well in ODI series and T20 series. And in both formats they dominated and won. The Indian team had a great performance in the T20 series against Australia. It was beyond my imagination to see them deteriorate like this in the Test format. I thought the match would be competitive despite the poor batting in the first innings. But the Indian team was defeated by an innings. Apart from Kohli, no other batsman in the squad can bat well. India has a lot of talented batsmen in its squad. Even then they could not survive at the crease against the South African bowlers. India lost all their wickets in just 34.1 overs.

IMHO these sorts of excuses are not helpful, sure fans can speculate anything as far as they find justification because they need hope but for a professional player this shouldn't be a big concern, if it is then they are cheating themselves and everyone else.

They can try Mukesh but i think Krishna deserves another chance, yes he failed royally but sometimes it does happen and i feel he could be the next Ishant Sharma (the last leg of his career was amazing) saying this because BGT tour is on the line.  

The batting lineup is kinda new so consider this as a transition period, during this timeline failure comes and at times it does look ugly but you have to give a long rope to youngsters even if they fail.

Here I do not agree with you about this; Pakistan is weaker side they are having quality bowlers and batsmen which can bring better results but their structure and system is not allowing them to have better development which create problems for them specially on SENA tours because their system is not having any pitches like we have here in Australia so they are not able to use conditions as they need to do with this all still in today third days play we have good approach from them but sadly again we have another drop catch from Abdullah Shafique which change the match momentum from Pakistan to Australia while he drops Mitchell Marsh which hit good ninety again after first test win his second good score.

We have well-balanced match with now Australia is favourite for the win because Pakistani batting is not good to chase target if they are going to touch 300+ but if we have quick wickets then surely few can expect some entertainment in last few sessions.

This time South Africa was stronger enough, played excellent from begging and able to stopped top batsman within few run where Kagiso Rabada got 5w  but fortunately KL Rahul made his brilliant century. But Dean Elgar scored 185 and became great contributor for SA. In 2nd inning of india, they also failed to bat well. Although kohli made 76 run this time otherwise india score could be 55 something. Several of India's batting and bowlers need to be changed as India's top-order batsmen, especially Yashsasvi Jaiswal, Shreyas Iyer, Rohit Sharma failed in both innings in the first Test. They must be changed or else India will face a big challenge in the second Test as well. Defeated by an innings and 32 runs in the first Test, India's management definitely needs awareness, so maybe the Indian team management will change some players.

Babar Azam and Shan Masood looks comfortable on crease and this is the Partnership Australia wants to break. If Pakistan won this, the series would be decided by the final test. Pakistan is a good battting and bowling team but they lacks consistency  more so than Australia.

Target for Pakistan is 317, and they are at 59/2 which means that they need another 258 runs to win. Although it is not theoretically impossible, this target is almost impossible to achieve for Pakistan. On the other hand, Australia have four very experienced test bowlers in Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon. And all of them are in great form as of now. And then, Pakistan top order is in pathetic form. I don't even remember when did Babar Azam scored his last test century. Others like Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan are also not doing that great.
