They lost the ODI World Cup and they lost the first test against the South Africans by a big margin which is why I felt that their overall performance across all formats is currently sinking basically.

The batting lineup is kinda new so consider this as a transition period, during this timeline failure comes and at times it does look ugly but you have to give a long rope to youngsters even if they fail.

I am thinking about the positive side of Pakistan.Pakistan have collected 182 runs for five wickets and they need only 135 runs to win this test match which I think is very close as they still have five wickets in hand. Pakistan's wicket keeper batsman Md Rizwan and Saud Shakeel are batting at the moment. If both of them can give their best performance for their team then Pakistan will definitely be able to win this match.

Pakistan had a good comeback and it looked like they will win today. What happened to the tail enders? Most of them were out without scoring any runs. Getting defeated by only 79 runs, if the tail enders had only scored 10 runs each Pakistan could have won the match. They played far better than the first one when compared. With this defeat Pakistan lost the series and not much can be expected by them in the third match.
