If we look at results of last three test matches between Bangladesh and Pakistan then all went in favour of Bangladesh. In all these three matches, Pakistan lost the game because of poor batting in second innings and this is the area Pakistan need to focus on. The second test is a must win game for Pakistan to avoid a series loss by 2-0. Babar Azam inclusion in playing eleven is a good boost for Pakistan but rest of batsmen also need to play there part well.

Pakistan has a very poor performance in their second innings, especially in batting. They have lost the last three matches in the same manner, yet they have not learned from that mistake. The bowling lineup of the Test XI announced against Bangladesh is the weakest, where Bangladesh's XI has all the fast bowlers, while Pakistan's XI does not have any notable fast bowlers.

It is certain that both the teams are going to take the field with a changed XI in the second match. Pakistan's XI may see changes in both the bowling and batting lineups, and Bangladesh's XI may see changes in the batting lineup. BAN was all out for 278 runs but if the top order batsmen could have performed well in this match then Bangladesh could have scored more runs. I thought BAN would be all out before scoring 200 runs as BAN lost 6 wickets for 116 runs. But Litton Das performed brilliantly and helped the team to score 250+ runs. Liton scored his 6th century of his Test career and he was out for 126 runs. The first day of this Test has ended, Pakistan has scored 21 runs in 6 overs. Now tomorrow Bangladesh bowlers will have to perform well and try to bowl Pakistan out quickly.

Apart from Litton Das no Bangladeshi batsman was able to score in 30s. Abbas picked 3 wickets and Khurram picked 4 wickets. Pakistan need to bat well in first innings and must try to get some lead in first innings. The advantage Pakistan team has in this test is presence of Babar Azam, while the winning momentum is with Bangladesh. Pressure is on Pakistan team to win this test and level the series.

It was a dismal performance from the Bangladesh batsmen, as none of them were able to build any meaningful partnerships with Litton Das, who was anchoring the innings.

After losing three consecutive Test matches against Bangladesh, the advantage is on Pakistan for the first time. They need to score big and get a meaningful first innings lead and maintain the pressure. If not, it will be difficult to bat on the final day as I am expecting a spin friendly track from day 3 onwards.

They were 116/6 so current scoreline looks decent comeback. The way things were going i thought they're gonna bundle up under 150 so it's atleast respectable total.

The first session completely belonged to Pakistan. From here, no doubt, 150 to 170 was looking total for Bangladesh, but Litton Das's resistance made things hard for Pakistani bowlers, but still they did a good job and restricted them to 278. Now in the first inning, how their batting works is important.
If they are able to have 400+, this could be a big boost and also give them a good chance of winning the test and bringing themselves on level in the series, but if the Bangladeshi spinners work and are not allowed to, I am sure it's going to be a 4-0 streak in test matches for Bangladesh and another shameful end of the series and match for Pakistan.

True, and even I would also like to say here that the confidence level of the Pakistan team players has increased with the inclusion of Babar Azam in the Pakistan team squad even it was starting with the bowling here.

Litton Das put up good resistance; his timely century was good for them to have a good total on board because there was a good chance for Pakistan to clean them out before reaching 200, but two good partnerships allowed Bangladesh to have 278 runs in the last few overs. Pakistan openers also played well and reached 21 without any losses. They needed to have a good total if they wanted to win this match and end their losing streak against Bangladesh.

When the match started, on the first ball Abbas Khan appealed for LBW but that was not out but on the very next ball he did a good bowl which resulted in out, the batsmen tries to touch the ball but he already added the slip so the plans were simple, which was a great kind of approach. And as the game slowly progressed, the overall team was doing so well , not giving many runs to the opponent and also trying their best to get wickets.
