After 31 overs, Pakistan's total is 172/2. Opener Fakhar Zaman was dismissed with 30 runs and captain Babar Azam was dismissed with 53 runs. Imam Ul Haque is still unbeaten with 70 runs. He is batting very carefully. Slowly progressing towards the century, at the same time leading the team towards victory.

Pakistan need 129 runs in 19 overs. Is it too difficult a task? I don't think so. Because the Afghanistan players collected 143 runs in the last 19 overs. That's why I don't think Pakistan will have a problem winning this match. Experienced players like Rizwan and Imam ul Haque are still at the crease. After a 171/1, it was straight forward chase but 2 quick wickets, including a big mix-up or what some might call a brain fade moment between Rizwan and Imam messed things up. This is the last recognized pair and the match is heading into the T-20 scenario. An interesting end is on the card if this pair survives.

Not only ball but their batting was too good today. Gurbaz done a magnificent job because it's not easy to score hundred and fifty against world best bowlers. Patch is looking in the favor of batsmen and bowlers are facing trouble here but still i will appreciate Afghanistan team and they prove that their batting is improving for Asia cup

The match has now become competitive and Pakistan's chances of victory now seem slim. Pakistan's top order got off to a great start. The partnership of Imam Ul Haque and Babar Azam was very effective. But then Pakistan's middle-order players could not maintain consistency. Mohammad Rizwan scored only 2 runs. Usama mir failed to collect any runs. This made it difficult for Pakistan to win the match

Iftikhar and Shadab are batting now. They are both very good batsmen. But Pakistan need 46 runs from 24 balls. They have to score around 12 runs per over. The way the Afghanistan bowlers are bowling, it is very difficult to collect 46 runs in just 4 overs. Even then I think Pakistan still has a chance to win if Iftikhar and Sadab are at the crease.

What A Match !! Pakistan managed to win till the end. But their victory was uncertain. After the poor performance of the middle order players I don't think Pakistan will be able to win this match. Pakistan won the first two matches of the series.

Pakistan needed 27 runs in the last two overs. Scoring 27 runs in two overs was much more difficult with no experienced batsmen at the crease. Shadab khan batted brilliantly today. He scored 48 runs off just 35 balls. And finally Naseem Shah's batting resulted in Pakistan winning. Naseem scored 10 runs off 5 balls. Pakistan could not have won if they could not collect these 10 runs in the last over. Also Naseem bowled very well today.

LOL... I watched this match until 26th over of the second innings and then Pakistan was at 146/1. Then I had to leave as I had an important office meeting. And when I finished my meeting and went back to my personal laptop, the match was already over. But I never expected a match this close. Pakistan just scraped through in the end by the smallest of the margins. And I believe that this is the second time that Naseem Shah is doing something like this against Afghanistan. If I am correct, he did something similar during the Asia Cup as well.

It was a good game, Pakistan was in control of this chase during the early stages when they were 170 for the loss of one wicket and from that situation they lost a few quick wickets which will be worrying in the long term as the middle order is really struggling and at point they lost their 8th wicket with 30 odd runs to win.

I feel bad for Afghanistan, but the run out by Farooqi wasn't the real meaning of cricket game. These decisions always bring controversy in the cricket. Farooqi has done that to turn the game in their favour, and he was successful on it. But Naseem Shah has changed the momentum of the match again like he did it in the Asia cup of 2022.

It is not too easy because Afghanistan bowling line is very strong. There has world famous bowling Mohammad Rashid. But i also think Afghanistan bating line is normal then Pakistani bating line. Afgan batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz palyed fantastic he takes 151 runs from 151 bolls and Ibrahim Zadran taken 80 runs from 101 bolls and Mohammad Nabi taken 29 runs from 29 bolls but no any others batsman could not play well on the otherhand 4 Pakistani batsman taken good runs. Overall both team played well. And many many thanks to Shadab Khan for man of the match.

You are correct it's second time and first was in Asia Cup while Afghani's were rude but today again they were feeling good after Shadab Khan run out, but Naseem Shah have other plans for them good win for the Pakistan after doing good work in early overs and having collapse in last few overs just Pakistan can do things like this mean heart attack situations for their own fans.

The first ODI of the PAK vs AFG was like the practice match to the Pakistan.Because the Pakistan had crushed the team Afghanistan with the 19.2 overs.This was the biggest lesson to the team Afghanistan,Pakistan scored 207 in 47.1 overs.But the bowling of the Pakistan was the unexpected one by the Afghanistan.It may be the lowest score by Afghanistan against 59/10.Because Afghanistan had lose all wicket in 19.2 overs.Today match may be very close and huge come back by the team Afghanistan.This was unexpected by the Pakistan,because Pakistan taste the victory one ball before the last ball.

Pakistan team confirmed the series win by winning the first two matches. I saw the first match we were completely one sided. Afghanistan lost all their wickets for just 59 runs. Afghanistan conceded a humiliating defeat.
In the second match, Afghanistan's two openers batted brilliantly. Afghanistan's collection from the opening pair was 227 runs. Afghanistan set a target of 301 runs. Even then, the team's chances of winning were slim. The performance of Pakistan's top order was good enough. But the performance of Pakistan's middle order players was poor. So I thought maybe Pakistan is going to be defeated. But Shadab Khan's brilliant batting helped Pakistan to win the match. But the match was very competitive and exciting.

Waoo it was so much drama and excitement especially in last over when things for Pakistan are looking almost finished but the horrible dream for Afghanistan name Naseem Shah alway teased them hardly just like previous, at one moment things were completely reminding me the last moment of Asia cup because situation were completely same when Naseem were on crease and Pakistan required 11 runs in last over against farooqi, after dismissal of shadab I taught game is over for Pak but surprisingly it's not.
No doubt Afghanistan batter were on fire today, they scored one of highest target with some spectacular partnerships but in last the Fazal Haq farooqi ruined entire things just like previous, hope he will learn from his mistakes or team should transfer his over to second last over of the match..

I saw the match when Pakistan needs another 93 runs in 78 balls with 7 wickets left. I thought it to be a easy winning match for Pakistan, and to know the result later checked with the score. To my surprise the match hadn't finished and 3 runs required from 2 balls and I expected Afghanistan to win the match. Naseem Shah had batted well at that position scoring a boundary and won it for Pakistan. Anyhow a good performance from a team that ended its innings for just 59 runs and great performance from Rahmanullah Gurbaz of Afghanistan scoring 151 runs and Imam-ul-Haq of Pakistan scoring 91 runs.
