Absence of Quinton de Kock is a big blow for South Africa. Reeza Hendricks and Tony de Zorzi opened the batting today for the Proteas, and both of them lacked international experience. But then inexperience is not an excuse as the experienced middle-order folded without a fight (Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller). The allrounder Wiaan Mulder, who was included in this match also couldn't perform. It was disappointing for South Africa. They lost the series 1-2, despite having the home advantage.

The pitch was tough today, both teams struggled with the bat but luckily Sanju-Tilak's partnership and finishing touch from Rinku-Washington did the hard yard for India, which gave enough cushion to Indian bowlers.
