Exactly they made an excellent decision by giving the first turn to Indian team. Australia tried well and collect the main wickets of Indian team. And made pressure on Indian team. And restricted them under 250 runs.

I really appreciate the batting line of Australia and the management of the batsman when they looked they are loosing the matches fastly. India was giving first overs to the top bowlers means the Bumrah and Sami were bowling and they collected 3 wickets in first 7 overs. After that Australia waited and hold the wickets like Travis Head was playing well. When they saw top bowlers are not coming now so they started to make runs. After that we can see Travis Head made century and Australia won the match. And the World Cup too.

In the whole Australian batting I didn't notice a single time that  the match were on the side of Indian Team because I have seen the match were only in the hands of Australia Team as you have also seen that. Just in the first 10 overs I have seen when the 3 wickets of Australia falls then may be there was a condition in which they wants to regain themselves but no change after that I have seen in the Australia batting till the end of the game.

BTW great bowling from the Indian skippers if they made some runs then they can easily win the match but there runs were very less against the team which is Australia and which can also chase huge targets many times.

Anyway, India has a chance to win this World Cup but the toss played a big role in the final as well. Due to BCCI's terrible decision and Starsport's decision, they organized a Day-Night match where both teams did not have a fair chance to fight. We could have seen a more exciting final match than this one. But no worries, I am sad at all.

The pitch did play a big role in Australia's win for sure, but these are all just excuses at the end of the day. Fact is that Australia was the better team in the final plain and simple while India choked once again.

I truly detest the fact that pitch conditions are different for both teams in the same match which is an unfair aspect of cricket.

Yes, the final match pitch is very slow and in first inning ball doesn't come on bat properly. But in second innings ball come on bat and Australia played very well cricket but the decision of bat first is very important for Australia. Unfortunately india loss the toss and as well lose the match due to fall early wickets of indian team and all out in just 240 runs. I think This 241 target is very low for Australia beacuse they have quality batting line and Travis head and Labuschagne that partnership will helped Australia to win world cup final easily.

The way the 2023 World Cup Indian team has performed there is no doubt that they cannot become champions Even after that, the Indian team is the champion for me. That's because the 2023 World Cup is India's only team that hasn't lost a single match in 10 consecutive matches. First place in the points table secures the semi-finals. But if the Indian team could have improved their batting a bit better against Australia in the final match, maybe the champion of the 2023 World Cup would have been King Virat Kohli. South Africa played really good from the start but later they fail to provide a good cricket and the fans they have all have been sad because they didn't even show that the last matches they can win for it. The fans were all talking about the Klaasen that he would make some runs but he also fails to do so. And also when the Miller came to the crease he has made a good runs but all was in vain. Even that was the end of the South Africa in the World Cup and thus they failed to achieve the win.

Although the game was really good between them but still we can take more examples as the India and Australia Final was one of them, just look at the Australia batting in the final it smashes the Indian Team really hard and won so easily.

In this 100 overs match India were in control for the first 10 overs while we have Rohit Sharma on crease, and they have 80 runs and 2 wickets gone but as India lost third wicket of Shreyas Iyar things gone out of the control even great Kohli was not able to bring back his team on track which was the biggest setback for them and K Rahul inning were completely mess-up because he was not in good touch and not able to give his best which was needed in this big match.

After having 240 target Australian were under pressure in early overs but as we have Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne at crease all gone into their favor with Travis Head was playing another match winning inning after WTC final and bring his team champions for sixth time this was one of the best performance from the weakest Australian side against one of the best Indian side in world cup history.

Yeah, as we all know how things were happening in this event and Indian top order and bowlers were also giving their best in all 10 matches no one were thinking they can go down like this in final which is surely out of the course but here we have to praise Australians and their mentality as well which give them good advantage in big match, and they give their best in presence of the 93000 fans in stadium.

Head, Cummins and Starc were hero for them which turn the tables into their team's favor, and they bring this title sixth time which is another milestone for any team in cricket and any game their study of the all batsmen were also impressive with I really feel shocking Indian batsmen have only 4 boundaries in 40 overs which is really impressive from them and their team.

Shubman Gill is a great player for India but his dismissal for just 4 runs in the final match made India very vulnerable. Due to which India could not target Australia with fair runs. On the other hand, Australia's bowling performance was also very good. All in all, Australia's fortunes worked very well in the final match. It hurt them a lot when India lost the final in their home game. And their dignity has been disturbed. I don't know why this situation happened in India.  But I strongly supported India that they will be champions this year.  But they failed

India won 10 matches and all the Indian fans and players also were shocked at what was happening but when they realized the Australians had gone far away they only contained Australia through magic. On the other side Australia who came to the final in a very bad condition they got defeated by many teams. In the match with Afghanistan, they almost lost the match and no one could imagine that they would win that match but Maxwell stayed on the crease and made 202 runs which is an unbelievable score with a wounded leg. If they lose the match with Afghanistan then they will not face India in the final.

Not only Shubman gill but also all team did not play well in final. I saw for most teams in past World Cups which remained unbeatable,it didn't won the final. It seemd to me before final, India will lose this final. Right, the body language of Australian team is different they didn't take any pressure of final match of world cup. Virat kholi played sensible innings but unfortunately bad luck out by pat Cummins. Australia captain bowling changing decison was amazing they bring maxwell early in powerful and they picked the big wicket of indian captain Rohit Sharma and put all pressure of other bastmen. Australia chase down target was also outstanding especially travis head they played brilliant and helped to win world cup for Australia.

Australia took the final match against India as usual like all the other matches but India could not do the same, India put a lot of pressure in the final match of the World Cup. Most of the players in the India team were new to this World Cup but most of the Australian players had played in the 2019 World Cup and the Australian players were far ahead in terms of experience compared to the Indian players. Big tournaments like this require a lot of experience. The more experience a player has, the easier he can handle difficult situations. Australia used their experience and did not take too much pressure in the final match which led to an easy win against India.

They way Australia team played in final of world cup is outstanding and win 6th wolrd cup champions in 13th ODI world cup. India perform well in world cup win all group stage and semi final match but they lose big final dueto pressure of failure in world cup, a large 125k plus crowd in final appreciating india but they failed due to early falls of wickets. Australia they played amazingly restricted india under 250 runs and chase down the target early in loss of just 4 wickets. I think its a glory year for Australia as they win World Test Champions finàl and World cup champions.
 

Although 120,000 supporters were in favor of India, it seems that the crowd's voice worked against India. When such a large number of people chanted India India together, it made a mark in the minds of the Indian cricketers that they must win this final. Indian cricketers were afraid that if they lost the final for any reason, they would be under a lot of pressure. The extra push to win the match pushed them away from this match. India has a T20 series ahead of them against Australia, against whom India has performed poorly. Team India will perform well in the upcoming T20 series against Australia as Team India will play a lot of pressure free in the upcoming match.

I can understand why some fans are doubting players but IMO it's temporary because of loss. The sooner they move on, the better and they just have to accept that the team lost the finals despite being in red hot form. It hurts but it happens, that's how the game of cricket or sports goes.

Indian team was just outplayed. There is no excuse. The captaincy of Australian team was absolutely on the point. They set up the field really well. It was a pretty unusual field setting in the middle of from Australia. They forced Virat Kohli to take a single through the third man region. And eventually, Virat Kohli got out trying to do that.  And Australia had a really good plan which they executed perfectly. And honestly, it did not matter how well India was going to bowl Australia had the capability of chasing the target. we have seen Australia winning impossible matches in this tournament. Especially against Afghanistan. And I think India was used to playing in fast pitches throughout the whole tournament, so when they eventually had to play in a slow pitch, they didn't do well.

When Australia lost the first two matches of the world cup, everyone of criticizing Pat Cummins for the failure because he was not aggressive as a captain and to win the rest of the match and then to have a great game plan to counter India in the final was marvelous. Credit should be given to the coaching staff and the captain for leading from the front through the tournament with the bat even though he did not play any fancy innings but was helping the team during crucial situations and with the ball and then executing them in the field was perfect.

No matter how much you blame the bowlers, I don't see any fault with the bowlers. If the bowlers were given a big run target they would have done well enough but I don't think it is reasonable to lay claim on Mohammad Sami, Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah, Jadejad on a target of 240 runs. The fault is mainly the extreme failure of the batters and the batting disaster.

People want players to perform better in all matches. If any bowler couldn't able to pick wicket despite of tough bowling then its mean the batsmen is more strategic and despite of crictism bowler we should appreciate batsmen. We want our favorite team win every match but it will not happen every time. Indian bowlers Muhammad Shamiz, Muhammad Siraj, Bumrah, Kuldeep and Jadeja bowling performance in this tournament was better than all team. In final Match Shami also gives break through and at start Indai chances of winning was high but Head was the player who stand there and make a history.

Muhammad Shami top wickets tacker bowler of the world cup they picked 24 wickets in just 9 matches of world cup and second Adam Zampa for picking 23 wickets in 11 matches and Virat kholi is top scorer of tournament but India lose the final match one soded that a quite disappointing for india. I think this lose not that Indian Bowler's didn't perform well but due to batting performance of team india is responsible beacuse if they are add 40 to 50 more runs in the total then it will be challenging for Australia to chase down. India didn't get advantage of home ground they losse match after Australia winning the toss in start of match.

Siraj I can understand but lol why add Bumrah to this mix?

In the tournament, he bowled the most maiden overs + most dots balls with the best economy rate ( not counting Ash because he played only 1 match). He only went wicketless in one match and bowled 5 overs in that match. When you have so many wicket taking bowlers then ofc you won't fill your bag. The weakest link of the Indian bowling lineup, Siraj also took 14 wickets and then we had Jaddu (16), Kuldeep (15) and Shami (24). Also, guest appearances from Ash, Pandya and Thakur and they took wickets in their outing as well.
