But at least in the case of KL Rahul, he wasted too many deliveries in doing so. They could have at least rotated the strike. If he can't handle pressure situations such as this one, then I don't know why he is in the team.

In the bigger picture, there is no point in picking any single player, it was a collective failure of the team and it's happening for so long. Faces are changing but results remain the same. I agree with you. Pat Cummins is an excellent captain. And because of Cummins' captaincy, Australia became world champions. Shubman Gill's wicket was picked up very quickly by Australian bowlers. But still Rohit Sharma was batting very aggressively. Had this wicket not been picked up quickly, India could easily have gone on to a big total. Cummins brought Maxwell to bowl in the last over of the power play. He knew very well that the Indian batsmen would try to play big shots against Maxwell. Yes 90% people thought that India will win the final match. I said earlier that Australia has to win the match because Australia is a big and hardworking team.Yes India can not try in the match the pressure on India was too much. Well, you can not pick a single person for the loss. The idea was right from Kohli and Rahul. First, built a partnership as they did against the same opposition in Chennai, but they failed this time due to the slowness of the pitch. In all of India's previous matches the other batsmen had supported each other.  But in the final he did not get the support that he got in the other matches. KL Rahul played very well but not very well.  Because he worked hard in the second match. Australia is proud because they have won the championship five times in the ICC World Cup and this time they won it too. I was also hoping that India will win the final. But Australia made an excellent comeback. First of all Australia bowled very well Mitchell Starc got 3 wickets.
