In three format of cricket, T20,ODI & TEST, comparatively Bangladesh team is good in ODI format, in ODI their rank is above Afghanistan & West Indies teams. But BAN team can't good performed from the World Cup 2023, they played worst i think, So i don’t want to judge them for this win against big team New Zealand, anything can happened in cricket. Yes, i have noticed that no batsman in Bangladesh team has to take runs consistently from World Cup 2023 except Mahmudullah. So, i think their main weakness of batting line, most of the ODI matches they can't play 50 overs, so they can't make a big score.

Among these three formats test is toughest, and then we have some good similarity in other two formats but still these all needed good talent quality and consistency which is possible with having good system into your domestic set up because if players are coming from grassroots then surely they can understand better technique and knowledge of the game which is also the best way for grooming of players in last three decades we have no improvement in Bangladesh domestic setup even now BPL is good and giving them good finances.

Now it's time for them to think about this all and create better environment which will help to increase quality and performance of players in all formats, otherwise having better ranking than teams like Afghanistan and West Indies is never good.

Professional teams never underestimate any team. You say New Zealand didn't field their best XI in 3rd ODI against Bangladesh but those who got chance to play against Bangladesh are all top players so if you now say Bangladesh won but that win was not against a good team then it will be wrong. Regardless of the players, you have to see how Bangladesh performed in the third ODI match. If we talk about the second ODI match, but Bangladesh did not perform badly at all but Bangladesh could not bowl controlled in the end due to which Bangladesh lost the second ODI match. Judging by the way Bangladesh finished the World Cup, they did well enough in the New Zealand series. After losing the first two matches, we assumed that New Zealand would win the third match as well, but Bangladesh turned around in the third match, so we must congratulate Bangladesh.

Winning just one game doesn't mean that you are best and vice versa. NZ squad was same in all three ODI's, there was no change in last ODI. Bangladesh have won the match thats good but they still have lots of work to do. Bangladesh team lack in consistency, they won one or two game occasionally but they fail to win major series specially when they are abroad. At home they take advantage of home pitches and that's something not available abroad resulting in bad performance. 

I always say this and I admit that Bangladeshi cricket still has a lot of room for improvement. Bangladesh has yet to become like other professional teams. Before the World Cup, New Zealand's coach said that Bangladesh is not yet a team to play in the semi-finals of the World Cup. We are only trying to discuss the achievement and win of the third match in this series. Still Bangladesh regularly lose against teams like Zimbabwe and Ireland and this is not good news for Bangladesh cricket at all. As long as Bangladesh played cricket, they should have improved a lot in cricket but they could not do that. Where the Under 19 team has won tournaments like the World Cup and Asia Cup, Bangladesh must make a big improvement in this place where the main team has zero achievements.

Bangladeshi players got talents but they lack consistency a lot. Every match they depend on a batter to score big innings to gather a good score. They don't perform like a team, their batting is very weak.

In the 2nd ODI Soumya played good but they couldn't defend it. Their bowling is average right now, but their batting is worse than Afghanistan's. No one in that team is consistent. Shanto looked a bit consistent earlier this year but he can't score runs here and there. Litton last year had the time of his life and now he gets out in soft dismissals like he used to. Tamim Iqbal doesn't play anymore, Shakib can't score much runs, and neither can Mushfiq and others. Towhid Hridoy looked like a good player with lots of potential but he has yet to show it. Tanzim Tamim looks like a good batter but he lacks discipline. Their batting is what letting them down each time. They couldn't chase a low run against Netherlands in the World Cup.

So I would agree with @mdzahed134, we shouldn't be saying Bangladesh has become good because that's only 1 match.

Mate, bangladesh performance was good enough when first ODI started. They did 250 run and Australia all out within 131 run. Then bd performance decreased and both team done the same run but a little higher run done by Australia made them win. Afterwards in 3rd ODI, the performance of Bangladesh became super worst. They only able to scored only 100 run as response where Nadine and Ayabonga Khaka got 3 wickets each while Australia this time become so stranger and 316 run target was given to bangladesh. Tazmin Brits 118(124) or Laura Wolvaardt 126 (134) any of them was enough for won the match behalf of Australia in comparison of the score did by whole Bangladesh team. The performance of Bangladesh women's team is fairly good but Bangladesh women's team did not perform so well in the third ODI against South Africa women.
