If only natives are allowed to participate in international matches, then the GCC nations such as UAE and Oman will not have a national team.

If anyone thought that this was not going to happen they are just dumb. India is obviously going to make some problems for Pakistan, and just because they have differences in politics and nothing else if I am not wrong. People in general are not that bad, to be honest. Of course, there are going to be bad apples. There is always a far right and a far left. But I also believe that in general people don't care about the political problem that much. Players also don't have any problem with each other as well. It is just the politicians and the media which are also controlled by the politicians.

The Afghanistan squad is now quite strong. The squad has a lot of talented players. And these players perform regularly in various franchise leagues. As I have recently mentioned that Afghanistan is a team which can beat any team with their excellence bowling attack. It's not like everyone is happy with the eligibility criteria. Teams such as Nepal, Papua New Guinea and Namibia have complained about it. But they have limited say in matters of ICC, as the associate representatives are also BCCI proxies. ICC wants to give a picture that cricket is being played across 100+ countries. But in reality only 30-40 countries have native players in their squads, and the vast majority of them are in Africa. Most of the European, GCC and American teams are entirely comprised of foreigners.

Most chances we will not have any changes in these rules but due to Olympics they can face something but still this all will be gone as it's currently going, but any conflict of interest can create any change which is also possible due to internal politics of this all organization.

No one having any doubt about Afghanistan's performance in white-ball formats with their top quality spinners and hard hitting batsmen giving their best and having new highs of their performance specially last ODI world cup which held in India they achieve few historic successes and now having more chances for giving their best in coming years but suddenly as we have news from them ban of players from franchise leagues can create problems, but these franchises are giving enough amounts which can bring changes in players life so mostly they will prefer them on national team.

We have nearly 10 leagues which are having regularly matches in every season and many more coming, so this could be easy for these players to join and give their best for the huge amounts and Afghanistan Board needs to be realistic and also needs to sit and talk with their players about this all before they have downfall like West Indies in near future.

Players like Adil Rashid, Usman Khawaja and Ben Stokes have citizenship of these respective countries and they moved to these countries even before they started playing cricket. No one representing these teams hold citizenship of these respective countries and many of them are temporary migrants who will go back to India or Pakistan once their employment is over.

However, during the first match two of their debutant pacers bowled exceptionally well. Both Aamer Jamal and Khurram Shahzad were quite impressive. However, their weakness still remains in batting. I think Afghanistan is one of the fastest developing countries in the world in cricket. But it was possible because of the performances of players like Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi. Both of them are the prominent players of Afghanistan team. Rashid Khan quickly created a worldwide sensation with his spin magic.
