The Zimbabwean team played brilliantly in the second ODI match between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. If Zimbabwe could have played the full over, if they could have given Sri Lanka a target of 220 runs, then maybe Zimbabwe could have won this match today. Because the bowlers of Zimbabwe bowled brilliantly especially Richard Ngarava bowled brilliantly bowling 32 runs in 10 overs and took five important wickets. Unfortunately Zimbabwe lost today's match. Sri Lanka won by two wickets but in my eyes Zimbabwe won. Because the Zimbabwean team has performed brilliantly. Because Sri Lanka is undoubtedly a strong team but the way they performed today it seems Sri Lanka's Zimbabwean team bowled much better. Because the Lankan batsmen have struggled to bat against the target of 209 runs given by Zimbabwe. Honestly feel very bad for the Zimbabwe team for not winning today's match. As expected the Srilankan batting line-up is so weak that they can't even bat against the Zimbabwe bowlers. This is the far worst  batting  by the Srilankan team in an ODI. 4 wickets have gone for just 83 runs, never expected the Srilankan batting would be so pathetic. Another 10 overs to the max this match will be over, if a batter doesn't hold on. The target is not that big to chase but Srilankan batters are not that good as they were in the past.

Sri Lankan batting lineup isn't bad actually, the top orders have failed to bat well today. They were under pressure by losing the wickets continuously. The new player Janith Liyanage has played with responsibility which helped Sri Lanka to get the victory. The lower order batsman of Sri Lanka also contributed to the victory. The target wasn't anything big, but the match became competitive for the failure of the top orders.

Batting at a target of just 209 runs, Sri Lanka would face problems that were unexpected. 209 runs was not a big target on this pitch. If the target was more than 250 I thought the match would have been competitive. But the Sri Lankan team faced big problems to collect 209 runs against the bowlers of Zimbabwe

Sri Lanka's top order batted very poorly. The Sri Lankan team lost all four important wickets to collect only 53 runs. If Janith Liyanage was not able to bat well, Sri Lanka would have definitely lost this match. Also the batting of Theekshana, Chameera and Vandersay helped Sri Lanka reach the winning target.

It looks like that the Zimbabwe bowlers are very effective against the weak Srilankna batters. Before the 10th over was bowled they got 2 wickets, as the Srilankan batting line up is very weak. The amount of hype Zimbabwe gathered in the first ODI was amazing! As of now they are doing what they hinted. If Srilankna team losses this match it would be a clear indication that they should not be part of the test team squad. As being a test match playing team the board gets more paid by ICC. With so much corruption these guys should be stripped out of the test playing nations.

This is three match ODI series and first match ended without any result. Zimbabwe was on top when Sri Lanka started there innings but in the end Sri Lanka manage to win this game. Sri Lanka were 4 down for just 53 runs but then Anith Liyanage took the responsibility from Sri Lanka side and scored 95 runs, he was unlucky to miss his century by just 5 runs. Though its a win but it shows how down Sri Lankan cricket is at the moment. They can't beat a team like Zmbabwe easily.

Tri-Nation Under-19s Tournament in South Africa this competition, today Afghanistan U19 squad against South Africa U19 sqaud match was finished now. We see in this match, Afghanistan U19 first batting inning performance was very bad and just two batters collected normal scores 35 and resting batters wiped out below 10 scores. Afghanistan batsman could not worked hard and struggle. South Africa bowler out the Afghanistan batsman in the third ball of the 3 o er. This is the third achievement for south Africa team. Zimbabwe is a relatively weak team. We did not expect much from them. So I was not disappointed at all after giving Zimbabwe a target of 209 runs. Such a performance was expected from them. However, if Sikandar Raza bats well, the Zimbabwean team could have given a target of 250-280. But Sikandar Raza is not in good form now. I can't agree with your post. Sri Lanka really struggled yesterday. At one point they were 112/6, with another 97 runs needed for the win. But then the 7th wicket partnership between Janith Liyanage and Maheesh Theekshana took them home. Liyanage was playing in his second ODI and he showed tremendous patience under difficult conditions. Even after Theekshana got out, the other lower order batsmen (Dushmantha Chameera and Jeffrey Vandersay) managed to dig in and make sure that Sri Lanka wins this match.

Both of them are teams in decline, and the only difference is that Zimbabwe is a tier-2 full member nation which has been in decline for more than two decades, while Sri Lanka is a tier-1 nation whose decline started almost a decade back. This was a home series for Sri Lanka and despite that they were unable to win comfortably against a weak team like Zimbabwe. And the win was mostly due to the lower order batsmen who managed to score runs in crucial situation. Zimbabwe on the other hand can regret about the missed chances.

Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe, 2nd ODI was held yesterday and SL won the game for first time cause 1st ODI was end without result. Most of people were about flavor of SL cause they are strong enough than Zimbabwe. It came to discussion when Zimbabwe couldn't help themselves qualifying in the next world cup. But the match was thrilling yesterday. Zimbabwe effort their best to reached 208 run where Craig Ervine did performance with 82 run. I think due to effort of this man, Zimbabwe was about to change the victory. Although they failed to defeat SL as SL was so much dedicative. Which was the reason SL able to bounce back even they lost too many wickets at 112-6. But they didn't lose the hope, especially Janith Liyanage did 95 and finally won the match.

Playing in their home ground and still struggling against Zimbabwe to win. When Janith Liyanage got out Srilanka had lost 8 wickets and were 20 odd runs short of the target. It was the tail that helped them to win the game against Zimbabwe and the worst was the bowlers were not able to get the wicket of the tail-enders. Both teams are the worst ODI team and the way Srilanka has been playing I won't be surprised if they do not qualify for the next 50 overs World Cup. They are on the path where WI cricket has gone.
