Good target by the South Africa team, they made 271 and I think it will not be chased by Ireland but at the same time, South Africa is not fully satisfied with this target because they lost the last game very badly which is why today they want to make it win.

Ryan Rickelton did very good opening, he was lacked by 9 runs to make the score of three digits, he was out on 91 runs. Also Tristan Stubbs made good runs, except for these both player no other player play good like them. Ireland have a 40 percent chances to win this game as cricinfo saying. Who will win it?

I was thinking that Ireland will do something exceptional today. Because South Africa was struggling at the early stage of the match. But they had made a great comeback with the partnership of Rickelton and Tristan Stubbs. They had set enough target and it has brought an easy victory for them. South Africa has actually been able to recover pretty well from the position that they were in at the start of the match. They were 39/3 which is a very bad situation for any club to be in. and it was especially bad because they were playing against Ireland. South Africa on paper is far better compared to Ireland. This is a match between the team that was able to get past the semi-finals of the World Cup vs the team which is barely in the top 10. But the thing is this kind of performance gives me hope that the performance from Ireland is going to be better in the future.

Yes you are right South Africa played very well showing how strong they are in One Day International match. On the other hand Ireland had tough time. They played like they do in shorter T20 games losing wickets quickly. Ireland could not adjust to longer game and their players could not protect their wickets. South Africa batsmen put a lot of pressure on them. As result Ireland was knocked out after scoring just 132 runs in 32 overs losing by big margin. This big loss shows how much better South Africa is and how much Ireland needs to improve their ODI game.
