Pakistan are screwed in their ongoing match against the Kiwis thanks to losing their main batsmen and Agha is their last proper batsman remaining in my opinion. They don't bat deep which is their big weakness.

Glenn Phillips' performance impressed me. What the New Zealand openers could not do, the middle and lower order batsmen were able to do. That is why the team was able to make a good score. Big congrats to New Zealand squad for first victory in one day competition against Pakistan squad and New Zealand squad managed to collect 330 scores after playing 50 overs with the support Glenn Phillips, Daryl Mitchell and Kane Williamson. First both Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell build a strong partnership and both collecting 58 and 81 scores respectively with the other batter support Glenn Phillips and he collected 106 scores off 64 deliveries. I feel disappointed the performance of Pakistan squad and their members first they displayed bad performance in bowling after taking burden of high scores Pakistan batters did not achieve scores of 330 off 50 deliveries. Pakistan squad just achieved 252 scores and faced a defeat of 78 scores. Some main batters of Pakistan squad like Babar Azam,Khurram Shahzad and Muhammad Rizwan did not display good performance and disappointed their fans. Despite being quite focused in this match, the Pakistan team could not put pressure on the New Zealand team in terms of bowling. Abrar Ahmed and Haris Rauf, these two bowlers, performed properly with their bowling, but Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah, these two bowlers, had the most runs.
That is why the Pakistan team lost in the end, the batsmen of the Pakistan team could not come into the discussion properly in terms of batting performance. Towards the end of the game, their batting was very weak, as a result of which the Pakistan team lost wickets very quickly, due to which they came under pressure and lost by a huge margin. India and England are going to face each other in the second ODI of the series today. In the T20 series, we have seen England's poor performance. Even in the first ODI match, England could not play well and England lost by a big margin. England is completely failing to perform well on the Indian pitch.

I consider India as the favorite in the second ODI match as well. England's batsmen are not in good form. This is England's main weakness. If England's batsmen can bat responsibly, England might be able to win today's match. If England loses the ODI series like the T20 series, it will be sad and shameful for England.

Fakhar Zaman played well to make 84 runs but he was not supported by any other batsmen. Pakistan team needed partnerships which unfortunately did not happen for them. Pakistan now need around 125 runs in 11 overs and that is almost over 10 runs required rate. Pakistan have lost 5 wickets already, therefore it makes a very tough target for them. Salman Agha is batting on 40 runs, some hopes from him but the target is getting too much difficult.

Fakhar Zaman came in the Pakistan team after a really long time and just he is scoring this type of score, Pakistan should not waste him here and save him for the Champions Trophy as they will be missing Saim Ayub.



Fakhar Zaman scored 84, was so near to touch his century, if he had made it it could be a good thing to boost his confidence up. Although he performed that was not enough for the Pakistan to win the match and hopefully in the further games, we see Pakistan good in each and every type of department, bowling, fielding, and the most important on what Pakistan needs to work on, one and the only batting.
