Unexpected but not surprising though, even a tailender can save the game with their batting for AUs, usually they do that a lot in Test but this time in ODI but against a weaker opponent. Zim played decent but not good enough to get over the line, just only saw the commentary on cricbuzz, might be interesting to see the highlights soon.

Indian tailenders should take lessons.

India have genuine tailenders and most of the time they go with 3 pure number 11 players with the bat.

AFG is on the right track, they are relatively young to this level of competitiveness and getting better at it, but ZIM was a good team back them and went back to the worst now they are reviving their history to find some place in the international arena. We need more good teams for the cricket to reach even more specators, having 4 or 5 teams that almost win everything is kind of boring to non cricket fans.

What a tough time, Australia just won by one wicket. I wonder how that happened a team that is performing well against good teams is getting their tough time from Zimbabwe. I am not underestimating the Zimbabwe team in fact, I consider them the best team that gives a hard time to the Australian team. Although they lost the series, it's okay it's all a matter of practice and performance, and I think Zimbabwe will give much more trouble to their opponents in the coming matches.

Zimbabwe team was doing good in third game but they have lost three quick wickets and now it looks like they will give a target of 250 runs. Innocent Kaia was retired hurt and apart from that 6 wickets have gone down. Sikandar Raza the Zimbabwe captain is still on the crease, he is not out on 46. Only six overs left in Zimbabwe innings and if Raza can bat till end of the innings then there are chances that Zimbabwe can score 275 runs, which will give there bowlers some hope to win the game.

Zimbabwe tried hard to changed the results and they were almost on the verge of making it, but lose by quite narrow margin. However It's kind of indication how well they have improved and fought hard till last that even the top tier team struggle to close it out, although Aussies full strength squad wasn't on park but still enough name are already part.
Regardless of the series loss still I appreciate zim efforts against mighty Aussies, because they actually improved in true means and sometimes result on paper don't always tell the entire story, I do believe If somehow Zimbabwean side keep things in discipline and delivered consistently with same intensity then definitely rest of side whome were taking them lightly will suffer alot.

ENG will see a super performing in the One Day International games, but before that, there was a series between AUS and ZIM, and similarly, the One Day International series between ENG and SL will start tomorrow. This means that the series we saw earlier, which resulted in ZIM losing 3 out of 3 games, can also be for SL because ENG also plays with its powerful. But there is one thing here that SL will use its thinking and intellect to wins and will bring us a new game with some super performing. If they show a little super performing, which was in their own games, ENG is the first among them. Therefore, ENG has more power in this series and if they play with intelligence, it will be difficult for SL.

On track but afghanistan fumble a lot, their famous fumble was against Australia as well in 2023 odi wc. Aussie were 7 down on 90 odd runs and they needed close to 200 more runs then Maxwell happened and prolly played a top inning in ODI wc history.

In t-20 as well, they fumble a lot and lose matches from winning position. Time has come to mature a bit atleast in t-20.

Australia narrowly won the last ODI with just one ball to spare. Zimbabwe picked the ninth wicket in 45.2 overs but then there is partnership of 27 runs between Nathan Ellis and Spencer Johnson that helped Australia in winning the final ODI. Brad Evans was most successful Zimbabwe bowler, he picked 4 wickets. If Zimbabwe keep playing like that against top teams then very soon they will regain there lost position in international cricket. Despite losing all 3 games, I would say Zimbabwe put up a good show in all three ODIs they played.

Zimbabwe should have won the 3rd ODI match. They dropped a match winning catch by being under unnecessary pressure. The performance of Australia wasn't satisfying enough in the last series against Bangladesh. So, I'm not surprised by seeing the result of 3rd ODI match. Judging from the recent performance of Australia, they might lose the upcoming ODI series against South Africa.

Australia whitewashed the Zimbabweans even on their home ground. But literally, it's a very interesting game because it ends with just one ball left, and the Australians prove why they deserve the dominance. In the third ODI game, Zimbabwe showed good batting even though they utilized their power play very well, but the hard-hitting innings of Sikander Raza was able to shine because scoring runs in tough situations actually showed the class of a batter. So Zimbabwe ended the innings with a reasonable target of 271 runs.

 the Australians showed very poor performances and lost wickets early on wickets but in the middle order, Josh Inglis put in a remarkable century, but after that, the game became very wistful because Australia lost their wickets and in the last over they had only one wicket and her N. Ellis played well and won the game for his team and Australia becomes the champions of this series.

Those are the small mistakes where fans think that if the players hadn't made those errors, they would have won the match, such as dropping a catch, giving away a six, or committing a no ball etc. However, you know that luck also plays a role. You can work hard like the Zimbabwe team did, but sometimes luck doesn't favor you, as they didn't stop that six and lost the match. Despite the loss they still received good views from the fans regarding their performance in the last match, and I think that is enough. If they can go for another series, they will definitely win it.

They were seeing the whole match and were facing a whitewash how could they not feel the pressure? But after all that, they gave a hard time and yes Australia showed a bad performance in some other series as well. In this last match, they gave off vibes of weakness, which might indicate that their performance will not be enough for the coming series.

I was not expecting the current Australian line-up to snatch away the win like that. The Australian team under Ponting and before that had done that many times in the past, as they refused to lose under any circumstances. Zimbabwe did the hard part by clearing out the top order, but then completely choked against the tail-enders. They had zero clue how to restrict the flow of runs or pick that final wicket, throwing away the match with a single ball and just one wicket remaining.

I was not expecting the current Australian line-up to snatch away the win like that. The Australian team under Ponting and before that had done that many times in the past, as they refused to lose under any circumstances. Zimbabwe did the hard part by clearing out the top order, but then completely choked against the tail-enders. They had zero clue how to restrict the flow of runs or pick that final wicket, throwing away the match with a single ball and just one wicket remaining.

They kind of lines they bowled to Aussie tailenders and add butter hands on field, zimbabwe deserved to lose.

I mean likes of Adam zamba and Spencer johnson were rotating strike like there wasn't much pressure at all and both are genuine tailenders.

In the third ODI match between Zimbabwe and Australia, Zimbabwe's enthusiastic effort was visible because they set a very good target of 271 runs in this 50 over match. Sikandar Raza and Craig Ervine both batted very well in the middle which increased the target a lot more, but all the players who came after them got out in their pants. If the players who came after them had also scored a little more and shown teamwork they could have probably won this match.

Yes it happened that they had to face failure in this match because their opponent, Australia completed the target given to them and nine players from the Australian team were also dismissed.But Josh Inglis, who was the player of the match, scored 103 run. If you look at it, the rest of their players did not perform well either, but they all completed this target together and won this third match.  It was a one-time game and the match was over. If any player had lost the ball, they too could have faced failure.

The Aus laboured for this winning, Zim certainly did. It was an impressive 271 from them and they had better support from two of their own, Craig Ervine and Sikandar Raza, with whom they could mount a challenge on Aus. Aus form was not the smoothest and they continued to lose wickets at crucial times. Then Josh Inglis stepped up and maintained Aus play when the pressure was on. The last few overs were particularly thrilling as Aus were chasing runs with only one wicket to lose. Zim had a better chance of going out of the game but Aus found the composure and got a winning run out with one ball remaining. Overall, Zim can take plenty of positives from this match. They demonstrated a strong spirit in the game, withholding Aus right up to the very last delivery, whilst Aus did demonstrate that experience and composure can be important in a tight finish.

Quite a turn around.. poms were looking to set huge 300+ runs on the board and at times, it looked like they were playing on the easy mode but went down the gutter when Harry brook went down

Lankans are onto the tail now and they've to be careful and try not to be complacent as these days tail is wagging nicely for SENA.

Sri Lanka got rid of both of them especially harry brook wicket. Dushmantha Chameera took the most crucial wicket of Harry Brook and helped Sri Lanka to back in this match. Harry Brook is a world-class player scoring a well deserved half-century and adding an important 67 runs to the team total. Sri Lanka bowled really well in the last 8 overs picked up 3 important wickets and restricted England to 265 runs. I think Sri Lanka have a 60% chance to win the first ODI match but England have a good bowling attack. If they pick up some quick wickets in the opening spell of the match then they have enough chances to lead the series

This is the first ODI match between England and Sri Lanka. Where England won the toss and decided to bat. I don't know how right their decision was. They batted first and managed to score 265 runs in 48 overs losing all their wickets. England started fairly well but the end was not good at all. However, 265 runs is not a small run in ODI cricket. I think England's bowling line-up will be able to keep Sri Lanka in the frame. However, a good performance by one or two Sri Lankan batsmen can turn the result of the message. Let's see who smiles at the end of the match.
