Hacking is quite different from fraud or phishing. Hacking sometimes happen as a result of the negligence of the account user whereas it can also happen without any blemish from the account user. Once the hacker gets the correct codes to breach the security of the account, protecting login details cannot save the account.
Yeah our account get hacked with our own mistakes we are aware of all sensitivity of crypto we should remain very careful about security. Having wallet is the most important and that wallet will give you private key which is important to keep secret. If anyone would know about it then it will be child's way to handle your crypto.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I can easily say that it is not my mistake 😊
By the way, all us of know crypto currency includes high risk.
High risk does not only mean that the coin which you bought from top can make all time low in a days.
Hack issues (also scammers) also important part of crypto market and traders/investors must accept this risk before they enter the market.
You can just reduce the risk by using cold wallet or distribute your fund to different exchanges.
We can not ignore hackers if we are in crypto.

No one will be responsible if your account is hacked. It was your fault because you didn't secure it well.
To keep your account safe, you need to keep your computer secure and set strong passwords
l do agree nobody is responsible, sorry but it is your fault if your account has been stolen. As you mentioned, after creating a wallet or account you have to secure, it can be strong passwords and of course, you can use some programmes, which can help you with this. These password managers can be a keepkey,LastPass, crypass and other ones.

It is your 100% mistake, anyhow you account/wallet is hacked. Use extra verification layers to safe your account, Activate two step verification code in exchange or coinbase accounts, also use in Gmail. Always write down your in your notebook 12 phases word.
These elementary rules have already been explained 1000 times, but people are too lazy to start doing at least 50 percent of what you are talking about. and then they cry that their money was stolen

Because they haven't been hacked yet. After they get hacked and lose all their money, I believe they will follow the security instructions

I think depending on whose mistakes, if hacking occurs only on our account, it is most likely that it is our own fault and we ourselves bear it. But if it happens on most accounts, it could be an exchanger's error and maybe the exchanger is negligent or ignores security

To all of the above, I want to add that the safest way is to refuse to use electronic media as storage for private keys. Better use paper. Or in extreme cases, use encryption software. This is not a panacea, but it will significantly increase your safety. The more difficult it is for you to get to your private keys yourself, the more difficult it will be for a hacker to do it. From encryption software, you can use Vera Crypt and Bitlocker.

Who can say? Maybe you have saved the password and essential details somewhere easily accessible, or perhaps it is the platform’s fault. You can’t really blame anyone, and there is no way to legally challenge these hackers. Better stick to recovering your funds one way or the other, be more cautious in the future. Best of luck mate!

It's considerably the best options to keep yourself away from any possible hacks, using the old school process is much likely being safe than using other things around. Copying your private keys in a piece of paper and store it where you alone have the access will lessen your risk being hacked. The online world always been a risky place for anyone, you are prone to any possible attacks not just once but many to follow.

Most of the time its owner's responsibility if his/her profile got hacked. Cause we are failed to secure our wallet that's why hackers got chance to hacked it. But sometime if a exchange or wallet hacked then its not your fault.

If only your account was hacked, then only you are to blame, and if the project was hacked, then the admins of the project or the exchange are most likely to blame.

To a large extent, the admin are to receive 90% of the blame for such action since it have to do with security issues.
Admin needed to add some security measures like IP address check, 2factor, some admin sends SMS message when users make withdrawal request.
How to keep safe - obey all the admin security measures and is your 10% blame if you fail.

In my own personal opinion, if your account was hacked by creating an account in a wallet or an exchange. I assume that the exchanger or the wallet will not claim the incident if your account was hacked, that is why you should becareful in your actions when you are visiting other sites.

It is the hacker mistake Cheesy and his responsibility.
Your mistake because you create an account there and you didn't take enough precaution to protect your account. Your computer or smartphone can be infected by a keylogger or some kind of virus.
The mistake of the exchange because they have security problems.
It can be the mistake of both of you too.
I would think that it's both their fault. The Internet is not free.

In my opinion, if a wallet or exchange account is hacked by someone else, then we ourselves are responsible. we cannot blame the other party. therefore we must be careful in storing email and account passwords so they cannot be hacked by hackers.

If the account is hacked almost all customer accounts, in my opinion it is an exchanger error because of negligence in terms of security. Exchangers should be responsible for this because their systems are easily compromised by hackers

I think I should blame the exchange where I created the account cos they didn't provide enough security measures that can stop hackers from hacking into their system. Cos it's through their system, they were able to have access or details of my account.

and what if the data or your password is leaked by yourself? I mean there are plenty of cases where the users themselves are randomly submitting their data to a random website as if it's nothing and ended up blaming the exchanges. usually if an exchange got a data breach they'll announce it but the OP case is he didn't even know whether it's the exchange that is at fault or himself so basically this case is unresolvable. Anyway, there's nothing he can do because the money just gone.

In my opinion, if a wallet or exchange account is hacked by someone else, then we ourselves are responsible. we cannot blame the other party. therefore we must be careful in storing email and account passwords so they cannot be hacked by hackers.
i agree with you.
if hacking only happens to our account and there are no problems with other accounts, it is our fault and that is also our own responsibility.

we can't blame the exchange, but if hacking has happened to our account, the best solution is that we have to change the account password and use Two-Factor Authentication to be even safer.
