I think this is your problem. You could not protect yourself, your given, your computer. You need to protect yourself by working on the Internet, especially now - when there is so much opportunity to steal your data.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

His fault not use good security with their account exchange excatly with coinbase account, after hacking better never use your old account because later hacker want take back your account, why not create new account because very safety and get higher security to make account safety, always click correct link for your exchange website account.

if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

It depends to the situation if you enter a phishing site then its your fault even you not want it, but if the funds hack in exchange then the responsible is the exchange. That why we need to be careful in any we click especially links of sites that not familiar to us. It's better to ask or research before put your assets in any exchange or wallet. Because some hacker copying the links of legit site like wallets and exchange. Extra careful and be vigilant at all times, protect your privacy data like email and password.

Its a complicated question that needs two separate answers first if the account that was hacked was only your account, it means that you are neglected your account security meaning that was your fault, If the exchange was hacked and all of the users account was affected will that's obviously fall for the exchange negligence and they should refund it.

Hacking accounts is an unlucky thing. but also partially careless. You should monitor regularly and create many layers of security for your account.

I think we shoudn't blame it all in the exchanges because first of all no system is perfect, every system is vulnerable from hacking but there are some ways to reduce the damage of hacking in our crypto accounts. We should learn to diversify our money or simply don't place all your eggs in one basket. Secure your passphrase and password in a place where we can only access it. Lastly, check the domain name of the website, for instance bitcointalk.org is different from bitcointalk.com. Simple mistake could cause a worse case scenario so check every little things.

if you have complete evidence that you are a user or victim of hacking, chances are the company will be responsible for it, it's just that you have to have complete evidence to prove to the company that you are one of its members. if there is no complete proof then you alone are responsible.

Proper evidence must be provide in order to give a complain in which you are accusing the exchanger or the wallet that your coins or funds has been hacked or lost. But today I don't see any complains about wallet and exchangers accusations about hacking and lossing some coins or funds from their users, but I hear some news that there are exchangers that suddenly being down once you deposit a huge amount of money in which we can say it as a hacking or scamming.
A few tips for you to avoid those kind of bad activities it would be better to examine and ask first some users of the wallet if it is good and convenient to use and if the security is all well and good. Because sometimes the users are the one to blame, in which they are not doing their research or background check about the wallet or echanger that they are using.

Bitcoin enables us to store our own money. Unlike the case with fiat cash, if someone is holding cryptocurrency, then he alone is responsible for it. If his wallet get hacked and the coins stolen, then it is not fair to blame anyone else. Even if you are holding your coins or tokens in an exchange and the coins get lost from there, the blame is on you. Exchanges are only for trading and none of us should be using it for storing our cryptocurrency (personally I would prefer the DEX sites, but I know that it is not viable in all the cases).

There's no one to blame when our account was hacked, it is our purely responsibility, accountability, just like children, we should have taken care of this like a diligence of a good father, and not just saving it anywhere without any back up or without any security, avoid opening your email in public shops too, better to just open your email or laptop at home.

I am pretty sure that everyone has to take care of own money, secrets aw well as cryptographic keys. As you know somebody manages secret keys efficiently but there are a lot of people who do not have enough skills to manage secret keys efficiently. You can read special special books concerning cryptography, IT, security and so forth to master the field. I know this way is too long so much easier way is to read some brief articles which explain you how to manage private keys and so on.

actually no one can hack your Bitcoin wallet and less you share your private key details to them.

We have seen many peoples complaining here on this forum saying they lost the fund in the wallet which is stored in computer on mobile. So those kind of people need to understand that one of the well known person stole their money. No one else can touch it.

You are responsible for your wallet and you should take care of it to the best of your ability. Because the problem is hacking, you may be victimized by phisingsite.

That's your mistake, because you didn't take the steps you should have taken to keep your wallet safe from hackers.

To keep your account secure open your 2f authentication and also use a stronger password. And if you find out for yourself that you have opened your coinbase to a phisingsite you should immediately change your password to prevent hacker to stole your money.

Using the Lastpass or keeping the passwords in offline environment are the two best options, from my experience but the obvious problems usually occur in the both online and offline world somehow. Offline 2FA applications usually don't have a background sync in the worst cases and buying the useful software is not affordable by my side. By this point, having a technical skills can save the time and money, the ignorance is the first reason that fails everyone in such bad days.

We can endlessly blame anyone, but the fact remains. Money is lost and can't be returned. This, to some extent, will be a good lesson and conclusions should be drawn from it, for example - to store keys in a safe place or purchase a hardware wallet.

Isn't lastpass based on your email account? If a hacker gains control of your email won't he be able to reset your password for lastpass? I'm not using it because I prefer to have a few strong passwords and keep them in my head. I rarely remember which one goes with which account but if I don't it takes less than a minute to try them all Wink

The majority of hacks happen due to user's negligence but there are some where the exchange is to blame like when they gain access to its database and get all usernames and passwords from there.

If you lost your money on the stock exchange, the culprit can be both the exchange itself and yourself. If you have neglected your safety, you are entirely to blame.

It all depends, If you do not protect your account correctly, then the fault is in yourself.
Usually, every exchange provides many good security features. If indeed, the exchange has a bad security feature, then you may blame them.
