So I've been wondering a lot time now why some people choose to play lottery which is made in such a way that it's statistically impossible to win and not any other game that gives about 49% chance to win? In online crypto-gambling there are a lot of such services.

Personally I'd advice against gambling overall (ye I know I wear a gambling signature at the moment!) but if someone insists on playing something without thinking or using skills, then why not buy a random stock? That'd give them 50% chance to win and with some research they could increase this chance.

I barely or didn't even see that kind of lottery which do give out the money after a losing bet.Can you point out which place does have this kind of system? If it does exist then the risk of losing money isn't their but this isn't really that beneficial on the country where its held or most likely this is just a private lottery.On my country, lottery is very rampant nor legally accepted yet it do tagged up with Charity works and the tickets aren't really that costly which as a citizen hoping for life changing jackpots you would really be tempted to bet out with those cheap tickets.It isn't really a bad thing as long you do know how to handle yourself on purchasing tickets without compromising your financial status.

Great example of this is what the Philippine President did couple of weeks ago when he decide to force a full stop operation for all Lottery outlets in the whole country because of rampant corruption (though the operation turns open again after some revamping in the institution)

It is rightful that charity is the one of priority by this Lottery but this is also one way that corruption stablished..

This is not reality at all lottery has no connection with crime infect both are differently opposite people who are corrupt will do corruption at any cost and those who are fair with earning so they will not get harm with it that’s why stop believe in those facts just buy lottery if you want and keep ir safe until you win.

It's always a matter of chance getting those probabilities of winning lottery, and with respect to corruptions we can't stop that due to confidentiality. Help the needy?? Who are these "needy" people? I'm sorry but in our country, lotteries are considered corrupt that is why I don't see lotteries helping other people. Maybe a percentage of their monthly revenue will go to charity but most of it will go to their pockets. I think we can see the result in the offline lottery directly because, in that game, we can know how people will withdraw the prizes. It is always fun if we are playing the lottery in the real-life because we can have fun with our friends and we can buy the ticket and hold the ticket to see which number that will be out.

In the online lottery, I think the result will be fair too, as in the local lottery because the gambling site doesn't want to get a bad reputation. They will make their members satisfied with the service, and maybe they will give another bonus to them.

Like you, I live in a country where hardly anything from the numerous lotteries goes to charity. I have stopped buying those "national" lottery tickets once I realized that, and it's been a while actually.

But, as you said, in some countries, the proceeds from ticket sales go to funds that support the environment, public health and education, and to many other good projects, some of which, for instance, providing programs to help recovering gambling addicts. If you are buying a lottery ticket in such a country, you are basically in a win-win situation, you are either winning a prize or doing a good thing.

If you gamble in the lottery, then make sure you gamble on gambling sites that are truly trusted with real provably fair and 100% paying. because sometimes we don't know how the site determines the winner of the player, right? moreover the chance to win in the lottery is not determined by luck but from the capital you have.
