I've a goal when i invest in crypto and really don't need to wait a long time like if the price of a coins/tokens has touched a new ATH or the ROI obtained is enough then i will sell and wait for the right moment to buy back when price drops

I think there have been so many lessons from investing or holding coins. if you've been here since 2017, then you can definitely see the changes, and think that when you have made a profit, selling it is a wise decision. The purpose of investing is to get profits, for now investing in IEO projects in popular markets can make that profit come true. it's just that, some people continue to hold and expect even higher prices.

however, I have the same recommendation, that selling it, and not being greedy by waiting for a new ATH will be better than holding it in a very long term.

Actually in crypto is not a long time or a short time but it is true that the benefits we want to get how much and time can not be predicted clearly how long will increase or decrease. like this now so many altcoin increases that are sometimes unexpected. although sometimes we also need a long time to get a profit

Personally, I think that only available extra funds should be used for a long-term investing. There could be a lot of market changes in a long time period and you can easily lose all your money. Also, you won't be able to use it for some other short-term profitable investments. Top CMC coins are pretty reliable to buy them for a long holding. But other altcoins especially with a small cap are high-risk assets.

As for me, I prefer long-term investments in safe cryptocurrency assets (like Bitcoin or Ethereum) to earn money. It is not the fastest option, but it is safer than daily trading.

thats the risk if we could not controll our greedy and never feel gratefull with the thing we have.quiting as soon as possible when we already get profits was an obligation to prevent price drop again.and you felt that,maybe those coins could not recover or even delisted from exchanges.holding bounty was not recommended ,we have to act as if we were investors that always playing save with their investment.but dont regret with that, there are many campaign that could used to recover our loss.

yes, I prefer to invest in the short term by paying attention to price growth in the market for profit. when we have benefited from the investment we made or arguably when the selling price at that time was higher than when we bought coins, then selling it is not wrong because we have benefited from it and are not too greedy to get higher profits. we also have to invest in coins that have high volumes.

Waiting too long with bitcoin investment can increase profit above 200%, if short term way investment only get profit under 10% and some time only take profit under 5% if use short term investment. You can choose with long term investing but you have save much money first because your money investing hold more than long term than you use short term way to invest with bitcoin and alcoin.

Grab every opportunities while you can. As for me, I'm investing for a better future purposes. If possible for retirement.
As for my investment in cryptocurrency, I'm using short term and long term strategy. Both have their own risk.
For short term, I always sell my alts whenever I see some ups even if it's only a few percent.

You are right,sometimes investing doesn't have to be long, watching the movement of the coin  and selling high is good but in a situation where your investment isn't much, then you really need to wait for a long term investment as long as you know you are holding a valuable coin. If we can really maximize our time doing day trading or short term trade, then we can always play with our fund, instead of holding it in long term, we can maximize and earn daily or weekly depending on the coins and our ability to trade.

There is nothing wrong with long term trade, if you don't have much time, as if you will push yourself for doing day trading if your schedule is toxic then it will just end up losing your fund.

I think your opinion is correct 50:50. I tried investing in a fast growing alt, but when I bought it it dropped. I think it is advisable to invest in a money that is growing steadily, and that takes time

Long term investment are always better in terms of safety and benefits. The longer you will hold your asset, the more you will get from selling it. In my opinion, the most important thing is to invest in the right asset, as bitcoin. That way, even if someone cannot wait for long period of time, he still will make a lot of money from bitcoin. Also, not every digital asset or stock is profit promising.

It is clearly the main goal to generate profit and income. Honestly, so far I have never targeted making a big profit, getting just a little is enough for me. However, this must be routine. If it is too long to wait I think it will not give maximum results also see the current market conditions.So it's better to make short-term investments that continue

I disagree with you, investing is always for the long term. You need to almost forget about your investment and ride it out, be willing to wait years.

It's ok to later liquidate very small amounts for income, maybe for an emergency. Otherwise you need to leave it alone and keep adding to your position. That is investment.
