But the total shots on target are very different, Atletico made 8 attempts, while Alaves only made 1 attempt. This means that Atletico Madrid attack is more effective, their strikers can do their best in this match. Especially, Felix and Suarez, they each made 2 goals. I'm looking forward to the Barcelona vs Sevilla match. Maybe not just me but all. So far Barcelona are in good shape, they have developed well with Xavi. Sevilla hasn't been that great for a long time. They had 3 draws in the last 3 games for example, which is a bad look for any team that wants to be second team in la liga. If Barcelona wins this game, that means they will cement their position as the second team. Which is really awesome when you consider how they were doing with Koeman.

I mean sure they had some transfers which is why I can't put ALL the success on Xavi, but I have to say he is like 70%+ responsible for this change for sure. They didn't had any proper system, now they are playing with that system, which is one we all know anyway, and they became so much better and I will wager on them to win.

Yes it seems that the top four spots are secured for these teams and i think this will be beneficial for barcelona and atletico madrid since the managers can give a chance to a large number of players to compete which means more minutes for the subtitutes and this will give the managers xavi and simeoni more player options for the european competitions.

Even it wouldn't be enough for second place but with this winning Athletico bringing a new spirit to going to England (Manchester City), that possible Suarez's performance will be able to create a score that he did in Alaves. I'm not sure about this, Barcelona is going for the best tactic but there is still fragility on the center field if weren't fixed, their target is limited to the champion league zone only.
