Mallorca vs Atletico Madrid match is ending 1 goal to zero in favour of Mallorca. I wasn't expecting this score line despite the fact that ATM has a champions league in few days time.
When I saw the scoreline I thought that Simeone benched some keyplayers but when I opened my lives core app and checked I discovered that all the big boys played, including Koke, Felix, Suarez etc.
Well, this is a weekend of wonders, it happened to Arsenal Fc in England today, even when they are battling to remain in top 4.

It is very big surprise for Mallorca to defeat athletico madrid. If you go through la Liga table you would see Mallorca is down the table among the last teams, they haven't been performing well, it comes to my surprise they were able to defeat athletico madrid. Athletico madrid really lost this opportunity to win Mallorca to top their point. Athletico madrid have lost against Manchester City in the Champions League and also lost against Mallorca in laliga,  am not happy about their lost in all this games.

Sevilla should not worry about the third place (it doesn't matter if you are second, third or fourth) but about how to increase/maintain the lead over Betis. Betis are 4 points behind but they are playing Cadiz this round and will win of course so Sevilla have to win to keep their fourth place and Champions League spot.

at least they are in that position but it would be better if they were in 3rd because there would be some prestige with Atletico in my opinion.
The first half has ended and the current position is still 1-1, unexpectedly, Granada, who persisted, continued to score their first goal by taking advantage of the carelessness of the Sevilla players in the 23rd minute.

Everything as you wanted - Atlético lost, and Seivlha won (judging by the minutes when the last two goals were scored, it was a crazy match). As I said it was an important match for Sevilla because Betis won and if it wasn't for that win there would have been only one point left between them. By the way, now Betis can throw Atlético out of the top 4 at the first mistake of Atlético. Simenone again put the club on the brink of disaster, I hope it was not in vain and in the second leg against City they can at least fight.

this was a very interesting game, i bet on betis and when betis was losing i said to myself: "all is lost, they already lost this game" i stopped watching the game, after some time when i was going to see the result from another game was when I saw that Betis was winning the game, I confess that I would have liked to have watched the game until the end to see this incredible way that they will be able to turn the game around and win

They were playing well in second half, at least better than the first half and it did pay off. Cadiz had them with the lead and created a lot of pressure till some point of the game but they eventually found the equaliser and the penalty sealed the deal for Betis. Now they stand 5th and close to 4th on the table with one point gap between them and Atletico.

Bad results happen, even Bayern's fans were stressed until the last minutes of the game or else Dortmund could catch them. In La Liga, ATM missed the opportunity to annoy Barca and Sevilla by losing vs Mallorca... They are 3 points away from Sevilla and up to 6 from Barca which lacks 2 games. They have 7 games left including Real Madrid and Sevilla. They should worry about their CL spot for real!

The last 15 minutes they went all out and indeed the result was 2 goals there which were scored within 8 minutes.
Very good indeed because at first I felt they would not be able to develop their game but seeing them perform without feeling tired I became quite happy with this result.
They need to give something good now because reflecting from this match they were lacking in finishing

Kroos and Modric are in rest; I can't remember when I last time saw Madrid starting without any of them. Nevertheless, there mid is still way better with Case, Kama & Valverde.

There's odd of 4.50 for the match to get drawn. Worth the risk I guess. I will place bets to on this.

I was confident about a Sevilla win yesterday and they really did it by 4-2. After seeing the equalizer in the 88th minute, I was worried about Sevilla. But still, they didn't give up on the game and they managed to defeat their competitor like this. And they were just hoping for at least one of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid to lose points. And Atletico Madrid really did it by losing to Mallorca 1-0. I guess that Atletico Madrid were focused on their rematch in the CL so they didn't care about this game too much.

What a game by Sevilla and Granada both tonight! I was wishing to have a more comfortable win for Sevilla here honestly. But Granada showed a solid resistance against them indeed. After finding the equalizer in the 88th minute, Granada must have felt a probable one point there. But Sevilla weren't intending to lose this match definitely. They were already on a bad run and they wouldn't run the risk of losing points again. And they scored two goals in the stoppage time and won by 4-2. I enjoyed watching it for sure.

Really what a game they made me sweat so much had Sevilla to win and in the end they won 2 goals more then Granada somehow.
This win for Sevilla made their champions league spot o most secure and now Betis will have a miracle to try and get that 4th position

I was so confident that Sevilla would win the match and they did well though it was tough match. Granda scored first and then a great come back from Sevilla. They have proved that they have ability to show something different to their opponent.

4-2 could have been all we asked for in a game like this. Granada did their best and it was definitely closer than what it looks like. I know many people will see 4 goals and think that it was a clear win by sevilla, but I have to say granada played a great game as well and it was definitely not something that was so obvious while watching, it looked like it could have gone either way.

In the end Sevilla is keeping up the chase right now, them and Barcelona are fighting hard time to see who will be the second, with Barcelona having europa games in two sides of this game, I am not sure if it will be a simple game where they can beat or if they will use subs to rest their stars.

It's pretty scary, I don't know what the coach is thinking, I just hope they win this game and I make a profit, I include them in my multi bet but I confess that after seeing these players who are going to start the game I'm afraid they'll lose

Could Atletico Madrid be more focused on their preparation for the Champions League? Mallorca is a club that is considered weak but this time it made Atletico have to submit with 1 goal. Many kicks had goal opportunities from Mallorca but only 1 actually went in and even then from penalties. I think without the penalty kick the story would be a little different.

It has been an efficient week for Sevilla indeed. They destroyed Granada by 4-2 after a really tight competition last night. And today, Atletico Madrid lost their game which was against Mallorca away by 1-0. And their performance was really poor against Mallorca here. I also agree that they must be thinking about their rematch against Manchester City in the coming week. As they are most likely to finish the season in the La Liga in top four now, they took the risk of losing points here. But I don't expect the same thing for the Levante vs Barcelona. I think Barcelona will win that without problem.

With a champions league second leg against chelsea coming up; a win at home to Getafe would be a good fitness bosst.

it's the right move they're making, they can't tire their players out now, the schedule is very tight and it's really hard to stay fit.

that should be easily defeated by Real Madrid, so Real Madrid didn't have to play all of their main players and Ancelotti decided not playing Kroos
and Modric was the right move. Evidently the match statistics show Real Madrid dominate the match and now in the 70th minute Real Madrid have
two goals ahead. So most likely Real Madrid will win the game, it is very important now to replace Benzema and Vinicius Junior with other players
to prevent injury.

I don't underestimate Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, but I think Real Madrid will have no problems getting 3 points against these teams. Getafe was forced to play defensively because of Madrid's very strong possession of the ball. even every attack is always completed with a shot. although not all on target. 23 shots of which only 7 were on target, and 2 were goals.
there is still time for Benzema to score, but is it possible?

Real Madrid are very close to having a big win against Getafe now. Maybe the current score is not that big (2-0) but Real Madrid's performance has been really fabulous so far. And honestly, I didn't understand why Ancelotti chose to rest Benzema and Vinicius Junior this late. There are going to be only two days to rest for them to get prepared for the second leg of the Chelsea matchup in the Champions League. And I don't even think that they will be rested fully on both of these days. But they already have a big advantage against Chelsea though.
