Barceona have been very consistent after being tackled by xavi in the second half of the season I think they deserve to settle for 2nd place in the standings.
to be able to catch Real Madrid seems very unlikely because the points difference is quite far and very few games are left to end the season. 2nd place is already very good for those who started the season really badly.

Barcelona finally only managed to win 1 point, and that has proven that Sevilla still has resistance. As we thought before Sevilla just defended and from every game they never changed. First of all I do not think that real would lose the championship, I mean they are good enough to keep it going and 9 points is too big of a difference to lose at this stage of the year. Sevilla would be one that I am guessing would do well enough at the very best chance, but nobody else looks to be solid enough to give them a trouble.

Even if they somehow managed to lose 9 points exactly, I feel like Barcelona can't end the season with 100% win rate, they will lose points eventually somewhere, and that would seal the deal that we are not going to see Barcelona championship this year.

though Barcelona are in their best form recently, I don't see them winning the trophy. Cause they are competing with a strong team, Madrid is 12 points ahead of them already and it's remaining 8 match for them to play atleast realmadrid can win 5 out of those games, and Barca might also drop point too so I don't think it might be easy for them to catch-up with realmadrid or win the championship in laliga, I think Barca should concerntrate on the 2nd place of the table.

Real Sociedad did score once in the match but it was ruled out by the VAR decision. I think both teams had good chances to score in the match but obviously, Real Sociedad had better chances.
Alexander Isak really played well in that match and created some really good chances also in my opinion. I think if it was not for the defenders of Espanyol they would have been down by at least two goals in that match.

After seeing this type of incredible performance from Barcelona against a rather Good opponent like Sevilla, we can say that Barcelona is obviously going to win the Europa League, and also so we need to give credit to Barcelona as they have made it to the second place in the La Liga standings.

I actually did not think that they will be able to achieve this but they played really well and now I am interested to see if they can get closer to Real Madrid. I honestly see a chance of that happening because Real Madrid is going to concentrate in the Champions League and maybe they might drop a few points in the league and Barcelona will need to take advantage of that.

I think the host factor is influential in this match and is profitable for Real Sociedad of course. But Espanyol put up a difficult fight for Real Sociedad. They came close to a draw before a late goal from Real Sociedad dropped Espanyol's hopes. Isak became the actor of Espanyol's painful defeat after successfully executing a penalty.
