It is such a funny thing that we are talking about even a possibility of this. After 20th week or so, if you asked people what Barcelona would do, the best they would say could be third, ask them right before Koeman was fired and it was doubtful that they would be even fourth in the league. Short time or not can be objective, but the chance is surely very small. Although 8 matches mean 24 points, it is only obtained if winning all the remaining matches without draws or loses. I am even not sure if Barcelona can win all the remaining matches and Real Madrid will be defeated in more than 3 matches. Barcelona actually has done a great job after they are managed by Xavi, finish at 2nd place won't be a bad result for them. Just remember where Barcelona position was when they were managed by Koeman. It was in 8th place, but now they are in 2nd place. Truly amazing improvement!
