I think that karim's main target was being able to perform full minutes in a match to make sure he has already fully recovered from his injury. Real madrid must try to make sure if benzema will be fully recovering again from his injury or benzema may be kicked out caused by there's no definite time about how long his injury will be recovered. I think you're exaggerating Perez's "cynicism" too much. It's just a business and top players get top salaries. If they cease to be top players, then the best solution is to leave. Apart from that, Karim Benzema is still needed because Real Madrid itself has not yet found a player who can replace an important role in the strategy implemented by Real Madrid.
