Barcelona definitely did not impress with their game in today's match, but they achieved their goal by scoring another 3 points. In the current match, Sevilla completely dominates Elche, which plays with 10 men after Bigas' red card. It looks like a big win for the hosts. Sevilla certainly needs a game like this to gain confidence, because the current position in the table is far too low for the quality of the players they have.

Lewandowski has started to get more cards since he joined Barcelona. He even got a red card after so many years of break. It must have been like 10 years since he got his last red card in the Bundesliga. He is getting suspensions by yellow cards as well. He is playing harder than before seemingly. It seems to me that this game has already ended with Sevilla's victory, I don't see Elche being able to change this result.

Barcelona is increasingly comfortable on first standing La Liga position behind 6 points left from Real Madrid after the crucial winning over Girona, however, Barcelona's victory came at a cost after Ousmane Dembele had to be withdrawn in the 26th minute due to a serious injury. Right now Barcelona waiting for match result between Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad, if another failure for Madrid with three points achievement will make Barcelona keep comfortable on the top standing position. Girona had several good chances, but the finishing was bad enough that they failed to score and had to lose 3 points at home.

I'm not interested in the situation of Dembele who he said was injured and was substituted in the first half. Obviously Barcelona's 3 points today makes me think that Real Madrid should really win their match against Real Sociedad tomorrow.

It's not good to let Barcelona be 6 points ahead and comfortable at the top of the table, it will only get worse for Real Madrid. Currently, in terms of points acquisition, Barcelona is now far superior in fact when compared to Madrid, but this problem is still a little complicated because in this match against Girona they are still very difficult even though they won there.
Although I understand in this case Xavi wanted to try something new by setting some players out of position like Ansu and Dembele in this game but it didn't go very well I think.

Pedro Bigas' red card made things worse for Elche in this match and they were punished instantly before making some adjustments because just a few minutes later, Sevilla was able to score 2 goals as a penalty for Elche in this match.
The 3-0 score was quite crushing and this also ensured that they were out of the relegation zone and pushed into mid-table.

I don't see anything like this. Dembele's position made it a little difficult for him in this game as well as with Ansu Fati who was not very effective in the first half fortunately there were some changes made in the second half which made it a little better for them.
1 Goal from Pedri keeps them 6 points away now because Madrid haven't played their game yet so they are still quite comfortable with their position.

I read two news from the local media today.
Barcelona extended Marcos Alonso's contract until 2024, Barcelona got Alonso on a free transfer last season. In addition I heard Barcelona released the fourth jersey. They made the fourth jersey with a yellow base color. Reportedly this Jersey was created in honor of Senyera aka the national flag of Catalonia. Actually, I'm quite surprised that they made a Jersey in the middle of the competition, but maybe this is also their business strategy to make more money.

It's a very good thing for them after a not-so-good start to the season at the moment they have to run fast to get back into an ideal position for them.
The opportunity is still there and with these 2 wins they clearly want more because I don't think the position in the mid-table will satisfy them even though next week will be a little difficult because they will visit Barcelona.
