La Liga is a dead horse for Real Madrid after Barcelona is 12 points ahead, even though the towel is still in hand but you better forget about La Liga. It's hard to expect Barcelona to get 4 defeats while Real Madrid must win all the matches, it's impossible even though Real Madrid is a big team.

I absolutely agree with @indah rezqi here because I believe even though it is still mathematically possible that Real Madrid will actually be able to win the La Liga title, it is not very realistic to hope for that.

So, the Champions League is the main target of Real Madrid right now in my opinion. Of course, there is also the Copa del Rey competition. These two competitions are going to be the biggest target of Real Madrid. I am not going to be surprised if Real Madrid actually makes a comeback and wins the Copa del Rey competition.

All hope is lost for Real Madrid in Laliga so there is no need for them to worry over spilt milk. They need to focus on UCL and Copa de real. Real Madrid knows that it will be possible to them to win these two cups I mentioned than Laliga. Ancelotti is preparing his squad for these two trophies.

Barcelona has won the league no matter what the case maybe. Their consistency in matches has proven this to everyone. I don't see the chance of Real Madrid winning the Laliga league if not Barcelona. The 12 points gap is not small. It's about 4 matches to be precise for Barcelona to lose for Real Madrid to top them. Barcelona has to lose four of their LaLiga matches for Real Madrid to surpass them. The distance between first position and second position is indeed very far and impossible to catch easily. most of Real Madrid focus will be on other trophies, La Liga is indeed done for them, Barcelona stayed consistent and beat Real Madrid to make the difference even bigger, Real Madrid are almost playing friendlies, i'm pretty sure we'll see them lose a couple of points here and there in the upcoming matches when they rest some players for CL.
