Real Madrid is facing serious problems, but I certainly hope Madrid's performance can be better today. It seems to me that because Real Madrid will soon be playing Chelsea in the Champions League, Barcelona's victory in tonight's El Clasico is more obvious. As you said, Barcelona only play in La Liga and don't need to put in much effort in matches, while Real Madrid must find the strength to play in several competitions at once. Although, for Real Madrid tonight is a good chance to win the Cup since they won't win the league this season.

This is the last El Clasico of the season and Madrid have to fight harder now because indeed of the 4 previous El Clasicos Madrid could only win 1 victory and the rest were beaten by Barcelona. Atletico Madrid played a really impressive game against Betis to tell the truth. They dominated the whole match and deserved this win for sure. They just scored the winning goal quite late though. They could have won this match with a bigger goal difference than this actually. well, as expected Atletico Madrid was able to win the match against Real Betis. but for the match Real Sociedad vs Villareal I was quite surprised because Villareal was able to score 2 goals without reply. But overall the matches between Real Sociedad and Villareal were quite exciting. Both teams took turns building attacks. it's just that Villareal are better at creating opportunities and taking advantage of the opportunities they get into goals. Atletico Madrid seems to have secured 3rd place even more. But Real Sociedad failed to get any points in that match. so the difference in points with Real Betis has not changed. it's just that Villarreal are now getting closer to Real Betis and Real sociedad. The race for the top 4 is still very fierce for Real Betis, Real sociedad and Villareal.

I have a different view on this, you say maybe Real Madrid will not give it all or in other words all out, I think they will go all out in this match, I want to put aside the possibility of them becoming champions if they make it to the final , but their opponent this time is Barcelona who have beaten them several times this year. As we know, these two teams have been rivals for a long time, so they have prestige at stake. They definitely don't want to be humiliated by their rival again by losing again. They will show their best to win the match.

Have you seen how Real just played? We are talking about a team that is playing amazingly and I highly doubt that it would change anytime soon. They are playing better than anyone expected and that is why they are doing so much better as well.

I believe that people are underselling them right now because they haven't been dominating all season so far, unlike few seasons so far in the past, but just because they haven't been, doesn't mean they can't. I believe that they will surely finish the season second, and there is still a good chance that they can go further in UCL and god knows maybe even win it again which isn't that impossible as well.
