They still have de Jong and Kessie and both played defensive midfield so far and de Jong even played both sides, but do they really have the classic defensive midfield? With de Jong and Gundogan they should be ok although I can also see the need for at least a high quality backup.

I would agree about both but let's see how capable barcelona in buying the new players. The club has not raised money from selling the players. All of players that being lined up in the list of players to be sold by the club already refused to be sold by barcelona.
Barcelona is not financially good at this moment in recruiting more defensive midfielder and centra forward. CF can be a risky position caused by lewandowksi can get injury anytime. There shall be a backup for him.

Antoine Griezmann isn't going anywhere. It hasn't been much time since he signed a permanent deal with Atletico Madrid. It happened at the beginning of this month for 20 million euros transfer fee. It is a three-year deal as well. It would be awkward if he suddenly decides to leave for a Saudi Arabian team now. 

He is making 12.5 million euros per year as of his new contract. I think he deserves to be one of the top earners in the team now. Because his performance in the previous season was really amazing. He belongs with Atletico Madrid truthfully. This has been the place he performs the most.

We really don't know what really happened with Mbappe. Even the news about Mbappe is currently getting excited. What I don't understand is that even Mbappe is currently being linked with Barcelona. This news came after Mbappe went on vacation to Barcelona with several other PSG players. Speculation arose due to the news.

Then now comes a fantastic offer from one of the Arab clubs, namely Al-Hilal. And I think this is the highest bid at the moment. Which of course will benefit Mbappe and PSG if they accept the offer. But Mbappe doesn't seem interested in Arab clubs. He is still young and can still shine more in European football. So I'm pretty sure Mbappe will not waste his career in European football just to get big money from Arab clubs.
