Osasuna won narrowly against Real Sociedad and this was another victory after the previous 3 matches had not been at all. I think Osasuna did what they should and host Real Sociedad still couldn't win after the previous 2 matches ended in draws. Real Sociedad is experiencing an unstoppable decline and I think they will definitely fail this season to be able to secure 4th place again like last season.

I didn’t expect such result because Real Sociedad has been playing draw in their last five matches across all competitions, that’s why I expect them to take this home advantage to win Osasuna since they have been winning them in the past but unfortunately, Real Sociedad experience a decline in performance as they now go four games without winning any one of them.
Real Sociedad next match will be against PSG, and so many people are given them hope of winning PSG but as it stands now, they have no hope because they lost form lately before the Champions League knockout stage matches.

Today match was just one side of the field where the ball only rotated in Girona defense area because Real Madrid continued to attack Girona and there was no race to push back from Girona side. So the match looked boring after Real Madrid took a 2-0 lead because it was quite difficult for Girona to show stronger resistance to Real Madrid. As great as the Girona team has been this season, the 4-0 defeat against Madrid was completely unexpected for us. We all thought Girona's players would play well, and we would enjoy a competitive match. But the match was completely one-sided.

Real Madrid crushed Girona by the way. After their previous head-to-head I was curious about what Girona would be able to do this time. But not much thing changed since then. Because Real Madrid didn't even let them play in the whole game.    The quality gap was of course very big already but it still feels different as Girona have also been a title competitor.

The 4 goals was just so surprising and it was too much for a team that have struggled to keep a brilliant performance from the start of the season but it just proves that Real Madrid is far better than them and with this point now Madrid looks to have run away with title because there is no stopping them now. Girona gave their best but Real Madrid was well prepared for this match and they are now 5 points clear despite their back line suffering form injuries and they had to make use of Tchouameni and Carvajal as central defenders but still they were still able to hold Girona’s attack. Girona could penetrate the defense because the midfield was rock solid.

Real Madrid are in top form and winning the league should be their reward this season because they have tried so hard as a team and i now have more respect for Vinicius, Rodrygo and Bellingham because they have contributed so much to the success of the team.

Having just one win in 2024 all La Liga games and score just one goal in their four games is clearly indicating how things are going into Real Sociedad which is now having not enough time for improving their performance and quality for the game against PSG which is going to play on 15th February, and we have impressive run from the PSG which won their game by good margin in Ligue 1 without Mbappé making things clearly into their favour for the win and Real Sociedad attack is completely crap because they fail to score any goal even they have 21 shots against Osasuna which is also showing what they needed to do if they want to have better position in coming weeks for better end in La Liga because most chances PSG will be outclassed them, and they will be done only their games here but still need improvement.

It is impossible for Real Madrid to give the opportunity to share the score with Girona, while Ancelotti wants the team he is coaching to be at the top of the standings without pressure from Girona, so they are trying to provide a bigger gap because soon there will be a UCL match scheduled which will put heavy pressure on Ancelotti, so the coach this is trying to resolve these pressures one by one.
