Since the first half, Barcelona was quite good at controlling the game. Even though Real Sociedad seemed to be able to balance the game quite well, they couldn't score a single goal. Moreover, in injury time, Barcelona got a penalty kick, so Barcelona's victory was complete this time against Real Sociedad.


With this victory, Barcelona has now taken over the runner up position from Girona with a 1 point gap. That's because Girona failed to win against Alaves in the last game, only to end up drawing, so their position was immediately replaced by Barcelona.

Barcelona won Real Sociedad and what difference does it make? Did the point even counts? Because Real Madrid are already crowned La Liga Champions and they've paraded the whole Madrid city with their trophy, calling in and out for celebration which was stunning for everyone that participated. However Barcelona just have to keep their heads up and win the remaining matches inother to sealed the second position properly.

Does the fact that a club is definitely not ranked first in the standings mean that they cannot fight and win? That's not the concept. Even though this victory will not have an impact on Barcelona's position of not being able to win the La Liga trophy, it can also be seen from the statistics of their performance results. Oh yes, this victory also made Barcelona firmly in the runner up position, this may not mean anything to you because Barcelona still didn't hold the trophy this time. But, it would be much better if the position was runner up, right? Rather than later they drop and end up below Girona's position, which is actually a newcomer at the top of the standings. Barcelona has failed because Real Madrid has secured the title, but they still need to maintain their performance at the end of the season for better achievements. I'm sure Barcelona will fight again next season, with the abilities they have, that's clearly important to try.

Indeed, how Girona develops this season is awesome. Although they are now at top three, but their performance so far really shows a big progress in this club. And regarding to injury, this always becomes enemy for all clubs, this is so sad to hear every time players getting injury during the match or training. But this is the risk. that is why Girona next season should be able to buy more talented players in order also to prepare the second players if anyt8ng bad happened,  if this is possible. But this will not be easy because they need bigger funds for that.

Ancelotti is definitely there because of his brilliant achievements with Madrid this season as well as for Michel and Valverde because in my opinion they deserve to be included especially for now Girona and Bilbao are playing very well but I don't understand why Simeone and Marcelino are there and not Xavi.

Girona are not used to being under pressure, this is their first season competing in the top four of the standings, and I think Michel fleet can still be considered very lucky. Player injuries are an indicator of a team declining performance, but once again Girona was still lucky enough to be able to finish in the top four of the standings and secure a ticket to the Champions League next season. The major problem with Barcelona that has been causing them some kind of limitations in their abilities to get new players a d be able to get the team back in their very best form and shape has mainly been their financial stands but I'm hoping they are already getting pass it so they don't happen to still reaming excusable as to why they are really poor with their productivity, this season they were able to manage to still get back to the top three on the table after they got displaced and lost the second position at some point which ment they were just inconsistent with their performance.

Actually at the beginning of the season they weren't really terrible with their performance, they were able to achieve some level of good performance that they at some point were placed side by side Real Madrid but then after the el classico, they started experiencing decline after they failed to be able to defeat Madrid or even make the game a tough one rather it felt like an easy game for Madrid but later in the season they have been able to get back in form a d are now able to even manage to get to stay behind Madrid on the table.

Barcelona game vs Almeria is very important for catalans in order to establish domination on the second spot. The odds of Barcelona are quite high and that should not be a problem.
The other position that might be crucial is the UEFA Conference League spot where Real Sociedad and Real Betis are fighting for it.
The third important position to seize is the 17th position where Cadiz are trying to pick it from Mallorca even though the risk is very small.

 You know the funny thing with football? It's how weak teams manage to become stubborn towards the tail end of the campaign and I must say I didn't expect the likes of Atletico Bilbao to beaten by Celta Vigo. Granted, they may be good at  upsets and all that but I didn't see this defeat coming especially as the visitors have a lot riding their performance today. Sitting at the fifth spot and on their way to Europa league, they would have made it for champions league had they not lost two and drawn two out of their last five games.
 Good job to Celta Vigo though as they worked tirelessly to get out of the drop zone and if they continue in this brilliant stride, they don't have to worry about being moved to division two.
A good way to win a game is to never give up even though you are down and it's this courage and determination that helped them win.

Yes, Girona is certainly going to be in the champions league next season but I still don't think they will be finishing the league in the 2nd or 3rd place as you mentioned this is because they have dropped 5 points in their last 2 matches and since they are currently in 3rd position with 2 matches left and they are ahead of ATM with 2 points, and I think if they fail to win their last two matches ATM may likely overtake them to move to the 3rd place while they come down to 4th place which is not bad for them this season.

I don't think they are being very serious again with their performance because watching the game against Villarreal yesterday Girona appeared to be too weak especially in the first half and when they finally conceded the goal they weren't pushing for attack to get an equalizer rather they remained calm until the final whistle, they lost so many opportunities this season i hope they get to do more better next season.

Atletico Madrid performed well enough and there were a lot of attacks during the game and Atletico Madrid attacked for most of the match. But the most interesting thing about this match is that Griezmann scored a hat-trick, he scored three goals with his magic of feet and because of these three teams Atletico Madrid won. The Getafe team did not succeed in attacking and made some attacks towards the end, but the attacks were directly prevented by the goalkeeper. With such a simple attack the chances of scoring are very low, with Getafe players creating chances from all sides but to no avail.

Why are you getting surprised with it? It's kinda stupid to include someone who was very dramatic with his life like xabi. La lige is getting upset with his drama that said to leave from the club at the end of season. meanwhile, the reality if he decides to stay. I would rather than put michel as a candidate rather than xavi with all of his drama.
It was not weird to see that if xavi was not on the list. It's caused by he has been doing the stupid thing like playing with his position as a head coach in the barcelona. let barcelona fans getting mad with it.

The manager of this season will be owning by ancellotti. His ability to bring madrid to win la liga has also made many good impressions around him. This is why im thinking that if ancellotti will be winning the nomination as the best manager this season.
Girona's manager is quite good but his team was not even consistent in leading the game till the end of season. It's an honour for him being placed as a nomination in the best manager of the seasoin.

Glad to see that the dramatic manager was not there. The metrict was not only based on their performance during the season.
