Barcelona has a chance of topping the league again  with goal difference, if they get a win against Vallecano on Monday and that's more likely expect they give a poor performance as the likes of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid did today.

It was quite surprising how the match went, where both teams who were favored to win, actually performed poorly and were only able to get one point.

Real Madrid who faced Osasuna had to be satisfied with a 1-1 draw. Honestly, it is a surprising result. This was not the outcome I was expecting from both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. I never expected these two teams to draw the game. I bet on the matches, predicting that Real Madrid and Atletico would do anything possible to win, but my prediction did not go as planned.

It was not a surprising result to me because I know how difficult things can be in Pamplona. Knowing the form Madrid was in going into this game I knew it was going to be difficult, it got confirmed when Belligham got the red card.
I said here on this forum that I don't see Madrid winning the league but even if they will win it, they won't remain at the top from now till the end of the season.

That said, I still believe Real Madrid has a good chance of winning La Liga because there isn’t much pressure from other teams like Atletico and Barcelona. The way Real Madrid is given chances, Barcelona and Atletico are wasting them. Anytime Real Madrid drops points these days, Barcelona and Atletico also drop points. Seven points are not a big gap to close, but I can't say that other teams can capitalize on it when this league is getting to an end.

I don't think you've been following the league because it's Madrid that's not making use of the opportunity given to them by Barcelona. Barcelona blew a seven-point lead and went down to second. This was an opportunity for Madrid to extend the league and run away with the league, but instead, they dropped points till now it's just 3 points between them and Barcelona. Barcelona plays Rayo on Monday and if they win, which I believe they will, they will top the table.

Villarreal missed better opportunities by now it would have been 2 to 3 nil at half time but let's see how productive the second half will be like. Valencia need to take this game serious that's if they want to move a step off the danger zone.

I think a lot of people lost their bets today because both teams were predicted to win their respective games and that should have happened considering the pressure they were under. The funny thing is that both Madrid and Atletico ended their games with the same result.

Barcelona play tomorrow, the prediction is clear that they will win and if they do, the top spot will be theirs but if they don't, they threw away a golden opportunity.

Both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid might have just thrown away their chances of winning the league as they have given Barcelona a chance to top the table when they play against Rayo Vallecano and although when they win, they'll be on the same point with Real Madrid but as they have more goals than them, they're ahead on the table. I don't think Barcelona will throw away their chances of topping the table again and when they do. It'll become very difficult to get them out of that position.
