We were expecting an impressive performance from Barca against this Vallecano side but they couldn't do much with their enviable squad. Although they presently are at the top of the table but with just goals difference above Real Madrid and one point gap with ATM. The top is still very much open for a swap between these three main contenders.

I think when they meet Real Madrid it's going to be a different ball game altogether because those are two arc rivals and they never show weakness whenever they meet.

Barcelona's win yesterday was not luck it was the favor from the referee, From the last 5 to 6 matches La Liga referees favored Barcelona when it comes to penalties and fouls if anyone watches the Barcelona match person will know that the referees have been helping Barcelona since Real Madrid write a complaint letter against Spanish referees the referees are now backing Barcelona to win the league title, La Liga is turning to something else very soon the league will not make sense because I heard that Real Madrid have won the Spanish League president that if the league doesn't make sense they will leave the league and if Real Madrid leave the league La Liga is finish.

It is not only Real Madrid that complained about the referee there like 4 teams that also complained about referees, In the match between Rayo Vallenaco and Barcelona we all see what happened, Rayo Vallenaco had the same foul that was given to Barcelona as a penalty and the referee didn't give the penalty to Rayo Vallenaco, I prefer watching Premier League than watching La Liga because La Liga is a corrupt league.

VAR is indeed very helpful but referees are also human beings who are not free from mistakes and bias, even though there is VAR there are also some incidents that are detrimental to a team, it is very unfortunate indeed but we must also realize that this will not disappear and at least VAR can minimize errors that occur on the field.
Everyone will support VAR if it is beneficial but vice versa if their team is disadvantaged.
I don't want to comment much on the bad things about the La Liga referees this week but it should not happen again because it will damage La Liga's image.

In the season ending, what club have most earned points will take the crown, and it's ultimate goal of any club that want to be a league champion. Goal difference is another criterion, but not the main and first condition to win a trophy.

Barcelona lead La Liga again after many weeks but the title competition is still very tight and opens for all three clubs Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid with only 1 point difference from two first clubs to a third club.

If it were so in the EPL, Manchester City will be very happy to see that kind of result.

Rayo Vallecano try to get to the European Cup and before the game with Barcelona Rayo did not lose 9 matches in a row, so the opponent for Barcelona was extremely difficult and motivated.

But I was really happy when Barcelona was actually able to get full points in that match even though it was actually more of a win due to luck. Because it seems that if there were no penalties then the score could be tied until the end. But luck is indeed on Barcelona's side. And now even though Barcelona is at the top of the standings, they are leading only by scoring goals. Because the number of points between Real Madrid and Barcelona is still the same at the moment, namely both have 51 points. And in third place is Atletico Madrid, which also only has a difference of 1 point from Real Madrid and Barcelona. And it's really fun to see such fierce competition this season between the three. Just like you, I also thought that Barcelona would win easily and big in the match, but when we had great confidence in the quality of the attacking line and also the motivation that Barcelona had, they disappointed us   , although Barcelona managed to get 3 points against Vallecano but I think many of us were disappointed when they only won 1 - 0 from vallecano and even then only through a penalty goal, But apart from that, I think Barcelona were lucky to get 3 points if we look at the resistance given by Vallecano throughout the match, we can see how Szczesny must work very hard to not prevent Barcelona from suffering the same fate as Madrid and Atletico Madrid this week.

Lewandowski, who was the kicker, successfully converted it into a goal, but that was not the only chance Barcelona had in the first half. Raphinha and Lamine Yamal still failed to take advantage of their good opportunities, but if the intensity of Barcelona's attacks does not decrease then there will be several goals in this match.

So far Rayo Vallecano's defense has made too many mistakes which have allowed Barcelona to almost score a goal, but they are still lucky because Barcelona's finishing is still less effective. Barcelona looks confident to win this match, but it's still about the first half.

Apart from the mistake from Pathé Ciss I think for the whole Rayo played very well in terms of defense especially Batalla who managed to make some brilliant saves in this match especially there was a goal back for a fast counter-attack even though it had to be annulled for offside but I think they deserve to be appreciated in yesterday's match.

The competition between the players at MU is very fierce. This causes several players to sometimes experience a very significant decline in performance, including Antony. If Antony succeeds in making Real Betis more productive then I think it would be better if Real Betis thought about buying him permanently in the next transfer market.

I've heard that Ronaldo Nazario said that the EPL is not really suitable for Brazilian players because we know that Brazilian players prefer skill and agility in playing but it is not suitable at a fast enough tempo so in the end not a few players fail when they are in the EPL and it also happened to Antony in this case.

He's actually quite a talented player and it showed since he was at Ajax but the choice to be at Manchester United disrupted his career a little bit even in the last few seasons he was famous for his memes and mockery rather than his skills on the field so it's time for him to change his image at Betis this time and indeed in the last few matches he has tried to do very well.

Yes, Barcelona did not perform as usual, they had to fight hard to win the match, however they were still able to get 3 valuable points. Now with the 3 points they are at the top, shifting Real Madrid and Atletico. Rayo Vallecano is not a bad team that was why it was not easy for Barcelona, both teams had a couple of chances but failed to score. Yamal and Raphinha had multiple chances to extend the lead but both failed to convert the chances and it almost cost them the opportunity to overtake Real Madrid.

They were lucky to have won and I think it was all thanks to the referee decision, the ref was just bias in my opinion he didn’t award a penalty to Rayo Vallecano and awarded similar penalty to Barcelona which was really unfair and unjust. The result could have been different if Rayo Vallecano were awarded the penalty. Barcelona now has same points as Real Madrid but the can they maintain consistency to stay ahead of them? Let’s hope they can.

Although Barcelona found it so difficult yo win the game, they still won it. They dominated the game, acquired more possessions combined with more attempts than Rayo. The outcome was totally predictable but never expected they would be so struggle.

At least three points is still three points no matter how hard their game against Rayo. I also pay attention to the Pedri, he was the only one scored in this game, but could score more than one if he did it better.

Three points from Rayo brings back Barcelona to the top.
