If he has been warned before he can be given a yellow card, if he was on a yellow, he can receive a second yellow and get a red card, but a straight red card? Reading through your submission, I think a totally agree with your assertion. Barcelona and Real Madrid who are currently tied on the same number of points in the Spanish La Liga standings are two strongest contenders for the league title before you can include Atletico Madrid in the midst.
