In this big match, Barcelona managed to narrowly win 1-0 over their opponent Atletico.

You know the goals could have easily been 2 goals right. Barcelona created more clear chances than I can say gr Atletico Madrid. Just imagine that chance missed by R. Lewandowski, that was something that could have been no place else except at the back of the net if only he could have been a little less selfish. I know his a striker that thrives on goals but, it wasn't his chance to score with the goalkeeper up in his face. It was a better chance for Raphinha given the fact that, he was on sight and right in front of an empty net with the goalkeeper charging R. Lewandowski at the far corner. There wasn't a need to try curling the ball around, just a touch to Raphinha and he could have added an assist to his name but, he chose to be selfish and the game had to end in a 1:0.

For Lewandowski's chances it was clear enough because he is a striker and naturally he took that opportunity and shot it towards goal, but unfortunately his instinct this time missed and he should have been more able to pass it to Raphinha so that it could be a goal. However, sometimes what he wants doesn't fully come to what he expects and this is also a job for Lewandowski to prioritize team wins over personal wins on the pitch.

Still 8 games to play, on paper that is still quite a lot, but there is no longer any tension for the title. I think you are wrong, Xavi actually expected 3 points against Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou. You may realize that there is prestige to be observed between the two teams, and most importantly Barcelona's home record this season has been the focus until the end of the season. Xavi considers the match against Atletico Madrid important especially after drawing two matches in a row. Barcelona did not want to give Real Madrid many opportunities to reduce the point difference, so Xavi had to play his best players.

Xavi also knows and may have received permission to play De Jong and Pedri in the match against Atletico Madrid today. It was a really rough match for Barcelona after a point in the game by the way. I mean especially the time period starting with the 75th minute.

Atletico Madrid received eight yellow cards as of this minute and it was really insane. It was surprising not to see any red card in this game after this scenario. Anyway I think that this was a deserved win for Barcelona. I was expecting to see Lewandowski to score a goal also but Torres scored the winning goal instead. This was an important win for Barcelona to prevent Real Madrid from being hopeful in any way for the La Liga title. Barcelona have deserved it so far and they should be sure of it to stay that way.

Sevilla keeps winning games and they did again tonight against a strong opponent like Villareal,they are well over the relegation zone which just 3-4 weeks before they were near it but since this 1 month they have been playing great football.I knew there were going to be at least 3 goals tonight yet I was scared and I clicked on cash out in my bet below as I thought it won't come true.Sometimes patience pays off but I am not that patient person as I did not have money to play tomorrow so I cashed out the bet.I think that Sevilla now is in a great shape and for the Europa League where they have excelled in winning it more than any other team maybe they are going to win it again this year as chances are there.

A quite interesting match was presented in Barcelona's big match against Atletico in today's match.
Both teams actually showed some pretty good results with the few chances they had but in this case Barcelona were slightly better with Ferran Torres' goal.
To be honest, in terms of the condition of the two, it was a bit of a hassle in terms of finishing, but on the other hand, I was quite entertained in today's match.

It's quite interesting because actually I didn't watch after the 90 minutes of normal time ended because I felt the score would only be a draw in this match, but indeed the late goal from Youssef En-Nesyri at 90+4 really made Sevilla get 3 points at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.
Looks like for the End of the season Sevilla got their spirit back after beating Manchester United and are in the Europa League semi-finals now they are back to getting 3 points and keeping them away from the zone which is not very comfortable for them.

Villarreal had a much bigger xG in this match honestly but still Sevilla defeated them by 2-1 at the end. I was like that was it and the final score was going to be 1-1. But En Nesyri literally saved his team in the final moments of the stoppage time by scoring the winner. That was a really dramatic moment for Sevilla of course and they won against a much better team this season at the same time.

Sevilla weren't even close to balancing ball possession rates in any half. But they still had many goal attempts. It was like they changed the goal attempt statistics in the second half as there were big similarities. Anyway this win carried Sevilla to a safer position in the standings and they must be relieved more now.

Their performance in the Europa League new must have been very influential about this improvement too.
