I believe that Real Madrid's lack of interest in La Liga is evident in their recent performance against Girona, which has nothing to do with Benzema. We can see how fragile Real Madrid's defense is on all fronts, they always make wrong intercepts which makes it easier for Castellanos to score goals. However, this is a new record that has just been broken by Castellanos with Girona, previously in 2013 Real Madrid had also conceded 4 goals scored by Robert Lewandowski (at that time Lewandowski was still in Dortmund uniform). It seems that there is really no hope for Real Madrid in La Liga matches, they are so bad and it is difficult to be consistent.
