Benzema's performance is sometimes unexpected. He sometimes explodes and even scores a hat-trick or a brace in one match but on the other hand in other matches he sometimes struggles a lot regardless of the injury he is currently having.

Your words are proven in this case. They had to give up 1 goal from Mallorca which made their points not increase this week and they still have to try harder for the remaining 2 matches they have because even though they are currently in 13th place, in terms of points at the moment Valladolid who are in the relegation zone can still overtake them.

The number goal difference between Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema I think is enough for Lewandowski to comfortably win the spanish league golden boot this season not because Benzema can't actually pull up a surprise and win it but because I don't think he's motivated enough to close the gap.

This is indeed true. The two players are arguably the most influential players in their respective clubs in La Liga. However, they are no longer young. Even though they continue to be enthusiastic, it will still have an impact over time, especially if they get injured, as happened to Benzema this season. For this reason, both Real Madrid and Barcelona need to regenerate players who are also very good, at least just in case for next season. Because especially the UCL is tight, if they want it to be.

Lewandowski chances of winning the golden boot this season is 90% in Spain, he's always the man behind Barcelona spectacular goals. Unfortunately he's growing older,  however he got more time for Xavi Hernandez to look for backup attacker for the club. Karim Benzema and Robert Lewandowski are the top contenders for the title, they have everything in place interms of physical abilities,  they got the best taste in La Liga. Talking about no replacement for them, their respective clubs and coach will scout into the market this summer, luckily there will be backup replacement for these crucial attackers.

Well this two have maybe 1-3 more years left in them and thats it. Laliga needs new superstars so that everybody starts following the league hard again. After Ronaldo and Messi left the league it is not the same anymore,nobody is following the league like before and it isnt that popular anymore.
