Sevilla probably won't care about the winning results but considering that the competition for a place in the conference league is still open, I think there's nothing wrong with Sevilla trying to pass this match.

Madrid lost almost every game this season? where do you see by looking at things like this because I don't find that even though the performance is reduced not like before but it's not as bad as you say. Since Sevilla has won the europa league, I don't think they will put any effort to win their next game because they have already gotten what they want and the Europa league was not easy for them, which took lots of energy from them. Before now Sevilla have not been put too much strength in their games in laliga.
There's no mission to be competed by sevilla. It has been reaching the main target to be qualified for UCL through europa league. Sevilla has been done great work this season. Even though it has bad performance in la liga but sevilla proves it through use europa league to be qualified for UCL next season. Mendilibar was really happy caused by he was achieving his first trophy with sevilla. I don't even think sevilla can compete in UCL but at least it give the club more income next season. The remaining match in la liga was not an important match for sevilla. I think that sevilla gonna play it just for fun only and nothing more than it. Sevilla has achieved what has become its main target and everything end when sevilla won against roma in the final of europa league. Im still waiting who will be targeting by sevilla in summer transfer season. |

but Athletic Bilbao is also aiming for victory in this match, Athletic Bilbao has great motivation to win so they can finish in the Europa League zone, now Athletic Bilbao is in 7th place and has the same points as Osasuna who are in 6th place in the standings. In the last week real madrid will host athletic bilbao who are fighting for 7th place while osasuna will host girona.To be honest for real madrid it doesn't seem to be very important to finish 2nd or 3rd in the league, if it were up to me maybe they could leave the game for bilbao to win but I'm not sure. I expect that both Girona and Osasuna will give everything to win this match, so we know that every single goal in the last games is important, so I don't expect many goals to be scored as the teams will play more cautiously.
