To be honest, I was surprised by Valencia 3-0 win in this home match against Atletico. Indeed, Valencia also managed to start this season with two consecutive wins. Barcelona is going to be a very big contender for the league this season and I'm not saying that just because of today's performance. It's because of how balanced their team is right now. They somehow fixed most of the problems they were facing.

Last season they did not have quality squad depth, so when players like Pedri, Araujo, and Dembele got injured, the team suffered.
This season they have added quality players to their squad and even if Pedri and Aruajo are injured right now, the team is still in good hands.

There is also the fact that they solved the right-back situation with Cancelo. No one else in the world could have filled that position better. Cancelo understands exactly what Xavi wants from him. He's arguably the best RB in the world. A top-class player.

Barcelona just have to pray injuries don't ruin them like it did last season and they will be okay. If the whole team stays fit I believe they could also go as far as the quarter-finals or even semi-finals in the UCL.

Barcelona is in a phase of recovering their finances so they really won't do anything that wastes their expenses. Indeed, Barcelona development so far is quite unique because they saved big in the transfer window but they were able to recruit several players with quality that is not much inferior to players with high price tags. I think that's what Xavi and Laporta are fighting for because they want to stabilize Barcelona finances to make it better every season. Quite an interesting development for Athletic Bilbao this season. I have always thought that they are a pretty strong team and they mostly benefitted from their defensive strength in the past, but that has become weaker for a while. Maybe this season they can become at least a competitor that has to be taken seriously for the first 6 ranks in the table again as they have often been a candidate for participation in the Europa League.

Bilbao successfully won 3 important points today at home against Cadiz. Thus, Bilbao has collected 10 points from 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. This has left them in second place in the standings, but is very likely to be displaced when Girona and Barcelona finish their matches.

For another match, Atletico Madrid seems to have to give up on Valencia at Mestalla. Valencia has a 3-0 lead over Atletico Madrid which is likely to put Diego Simeone under a lot of pressure. This is the first defeat for Atletico Madrid this season, but they have already dropped 2 points against Real Betis. Meanwhile, Real Betis will visit Barcelona in a few hours, but they realize that Barcelona is the favorite at home.

I'm also suprised at the poor performance of Athletico Madrid because last week they' were very Impressive away from home and it's so shocking to see that they'll lose with 3 goals about beat Rayo-vallecano with 7goals weeks ago it makes me wonder if it's same players that i watched before the break other another set of players entirely because their performance today was nothing to talk good about they're currently 7 in the table and need to improve in their next match to make up for today's error, they'll be facing Lazio at home during the week and I hope they done go their with this form else it would be disastrous for them.

 Am real impressed with the performance of Barcelona today and I loved how they played with composure and their brilliant performance made them destroy Real Betis at home today they played with class and are currently toping the league though Realmadrid are yet to play, the competition between Barca and Realmadrid is going to be tough and i can't wait for the El Classico by October which is next month.

Unfortunately, it is not easy at all for Real Madrid without a pure striker like Karim Benzema in the fight for the La Liga trophy this season.

Real Madrid made wrong moves for not signing a significant position striker this summer, however they did settle for a crucial midfielder, Jude Bellingham who's keen on saving them in all these previous games, with his late goals stunner, he has a way to make things easy and giving hope for his new club. Karim Benzema absence in Carlo Ancelotti squad this season will definitely affect their performance interms of goal scoring. There's more missing out on Los Blancos this season, they keep struggling because their primary frontline, Vinicius Júnior is injured, others will find it difficult to play without the skillful Brazilian international who always figures out how to handle his opponents.

I think it was a bit of a mistake for Real Madrid not to sign a famous striker this summer. Yes, Jude Bellingham has been a big surprise in the middle of the field. His late goals have saved the day more than once. But lets not forget that a midfielder, no matter how good, cant fully fill the job of a striker, especially since Benzema isnt there. The loss to Vinicius Jnior makes their problems up front even worse. I know that Madrid brought in Joselu, and Ancelotti may be confident in his present team, but I cant shake the feeling that they've put all their eggs in one basket. If they cant stay consistent, its going to be a hard season, and even though Bellingham is shining, he cant be expected to carry all the weight.

Regarding Ancelotti, we know Carlo Ancelotti was very close to leaving Real Madrid this summer and even until the last days there was some news about him moving to Brazil and working there, we know this coach is going to leave the team sooner or later, while he is still working on Real Madrid there are some news about the next possible coach for this team and former palyer of Real Madrid Xabi Alonso, is the first option for them.
