Barcelona is now much better than before, especially after two Joaos from Portugal have joined Camp Nou. now, they are better prepared to face various matches in all competitions. Apart from that, Barcelona now has second tier players who are quite better than before. Unfortunately, in the Mallorca match, Barcelona had to draw with a score of 2-2.
If I were Xavi, maybe I would experiment playing Joao Felix as a center forward and Ferran Torres on the wing. because as we often see, Ferran Torres always has difficulty playing his role as a center forward. Ossasuna vs Atletico Madrid

This is an important match for Atletico Madrid to win in La Liga after they managed to humiliate Real Madrid 3-1. Ossasuna is not a team that has had good form so far, so Atletico Madrid will certainly have to make good use of its opportunities. I don't think this match will end in a draw even though Ossasuna is playing at home, I mean Atletico is the favorite to take 3 points away from home to compete in the top 4 again.

Team of the first 7 weeks is Girona. It'll be an interesting match between them and Real Madrid this weekend. We'll see if it's by luck or if they are really good and deserve the first place. One thing for sure is at least one of them lose points.

Granada vs Real Betis currently 0-0 at half time, no goals on both team side. Granada was more aggressive in this match, they had several golden opportunities at home. Statistically, even though Granada lost in possession of the ball, but they weren't too bad. Even, it seems like Granada will get a point in that match, maybe one points because Real Betis cannot be underestimated either. The second half will start, I hope Granada not waste their golden opportunity.

The final result of Granada vs Real Betis ended in a 1 - 1 draw.

The attacking dou of Rodrigo and Joselu was crucial and that was what was missing in the last match. Brahim Diaz has waited to have his opportunity to start today and he definitely backed that with a goal which he deserves, I just hope he doesn’t get pulled back to the bench to accommodate the return of Vinicius. A great game by Madrid and I think this season tittle will be interesting.

Ancelotti may realize that Real Madrid was playing too defensively against Atletico Madrid. They have too many center midfielders at that time, they only have Rodrygo as a pure attacker. I think the result can be different if Ancelotti put Joselu-Rodrygo-Brahim Diaz on the front line. These 3 players deserve to play as main attackers and they are supported by Bellingham-Kroos-Valverde in the midfield line. TBH, this formation that I expected on the match against Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid had really took advantage of this match and won the match by two goals. They were  both one player down because of a tussle that happened between Morata and Chimy Avila, they were both given red card which in my opinion I think it is right. They wanted to distrupt the good game flow in the match.

Now, this is another great win for Atletico Madrid and I think they deserved it. Despite playing in Osasuna’s home and much match domination by then, Atletico Madrid have been able to win the match by two goals margin which shows how eager they are for the title hunt amongst other top teams in the league. Hopefully, they can continue this their form to remain dominant in this season.

Everyone must be surprised with Girona performance, no one predicted this team to lead La Liga standings. Yep, they have no top players, they just have average players.

Dude, it is just for a few days to consider Girona at the top of the table. Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two nominations for La Liga from the beginning of the season. Right from the beginning of the season I said it that the combination of Benzema and Vinicius Jr is very deadly but since big Benz left and Vinicius Jr went on injury break, the Madrid team hasn't been the same, let's forget the fact that Bellingham is on fire but it can't be compared to Benz and Vinicius Jr. Madrid should try as much as they can to get a proper number 9 instead of getting the man Bellingham in that number 9 position, it might be working but for how long? I even saw 1-1 at one point if the game but the goal was cancelled and right after that Atletico Madrid scored the second goal and finished the match but we seen also two red cards and Atletico Madrid just cannot go without a red card sometimes. But still a win is a win and they are 5th now.

Girona host their biggest test of the season so far and while it may be too early to call the results and performance in that match will prove if they are or can be title contenders this season or a flash in the pan.

Real Madrid are dealing with a lot of injuries especially in central defense and there are concerns about Alaba and Rudiger after yesterday's victory over Las Palmas. It is a very bad point in the season to have a depleted squad with Champions league and domestic competitions bringing difficult fixtures which needs lots of squad depth.

For the match that just concluded we had Atletico Madrid beating Osasuna with a convincing 2-0 win.
Alot of cards given out in the final 15 minutes of the match. Red cards given out to both sides with Morata receiving his second yellow in the final 5 minutes.

The second half of the game was mostly dominated by Osasunaas they made several attack which was been being repelled by some firm Atlético defending coupled with Oblak performing brilliantly with some good saves which helped them stay ahead regardless of the continual pressure exerted by osasuna on atletico's defense .

After their scintillating performance against Real Madrid last weekend which handed them a comfortable 3:0 win  at the Civitas Metropolitan stadium, Atletico Madrid must have derived so much confidence from that win and that is why they played so much confidence against Osasuna tonight.
With that win, Atletico now has 13 points from 6 Spanish La Liga matches and would be just two 3 points behind league leaders of they can win their outstanding league game

 I wonder how a club who is struggling like Osasuna can stand a chance at beating Atletico Madrid who defeated Real Madrid. Osasuna have found it difficult to beat the visitors at their home ground and this just adds to the tally of the list of home losses. What amazed me though was the way Osasuna seemed to have more goal attempts but none could find the net unlike Atletico who had a total of 5, 2 managing to find the net to secure an away victory and a much needed 3 points.
One way to analyze this match is to call it a bad tempered la Liga encounter and you'd all agree especially with the way the red cards were being handed out like freebies.
 But the card given to Jagoba Arrasate in the 75' was entirely unnecessary to me seeing as he felt that David Garcia's goal was unfairly ruled out. Maybe he was just upset that his team could not even score a goal and thar led to the outburst?
 Well, a great win for Atletico Madrid as this win pushes them to 5th place with 13 points.
