Barcelona internal condition is unhealthy due to the disharmonious conditions between club officials and coach Xavi Hernandez. Laporta was very offended by Xavi controversial comments which touched on the club's financial problems, now Laporta is starting to consider Rafa Márquez as Xavi successor for next season. Some time ago, Xabi announced that he would stay at Barcelona, but as a result of his comments regarding the club's financial condition, Barcelona officials did not believe that Xavi was worthy of remaining as coach.

So far, Xabi has been very patient with Barcelona financial problems, he has tried to work hard to save the club from going down. His policy of promoting several young players is very profitable for Barcelona, these players have received a lot of attention from other clubs who want to bring him from Barcelona. If Xavi has to leave in this way, Barcelona has made a big mistake by getting rid of Xabi who is making Barcelona develop with the quality young players they currently have.

This is a controversial issue since Barcelona won the title when Real (and Atlético) were in obvious crisis, and their (relatively) successful performance in the Champions League this year was more likely due not to Xavi’s plans but to a successful draw. Which strong opponents did Barcelona beat in the Champions League? Porto, Shakhtar, Antwerp, Napoli (completely dead this season) - I see only luck here and not serious rivals.

Real Madrid weren't in their best shape back then. I can agree. But Barcelona were still doing better than this which is a fact. 88 points collected vs 79 collected this season... That was thanks to their defense's being in much better condition than this as well. This season they have conceded the double amount of the number they did in the previous season.  

When it comes to the Champions League I agree. Those aren't big challenges. But they could have actually beaten PSG which was a bigger opponent. If it weren't for that red card by Araujo though...

Anyways, I'm not saying these like an excuse of course. Barcelona are in bad condition now which is obvious.
