I was thrilled to come back to the game after I had assumed it to be a done deal for Real Madrid,  only to fine the game with a Villareal 4:4 Real Madrid scoreline. Real Madrid whom previously ended the game in a 4 goals to 1 first half victory, couldn't manage to score a single goal in the second half and proceeded to conceive 3 goals.
What a game it was and I missed on most of the action.

Atletico Madrid however was yet another disappointment. Simeone and his defensive strategy cost them this one. They didn't go for it right from the kick of, they played a reserve football and Osasuna was the better side from the kick off and they maintained a better play all game to win all 3 points.

The La Liga championship has officially belonged to Real Madrid since the beginning of May. I think coach Carlo Ancelotti is rotating the Real squad at the end of the season. Having to retain key players to prepare for the match against Dortmund in early June, coach Carlo Ancelotti took to the field in this match with many reserve players. Winning this game wouldn't have really helped Atletico actually because they are five points away from Girona so even the loss aswell didn't get to affect them so much but ending the season with such an embarrassing loss at home doesn't make any sense because osasuna isn't even a top team but such that could be referred to as an underdog was able to get them ending the season on a very funny and terrible note, statistically Atletico had more of the possession but they did had more attempts which means Atletico probably didn't take the game as such that's really needed.

Gironà maintained their form a s their ability to win games even till the last game of the season which for me shows they have really improved and if they can maintain this form by next season they will definitely be doing well , they even got to qualify for the champions league and are going to be part of the champions league team from the la Liga which will aswell help them gain more experience and build their strength.

It's been a while that I have seen surprises like this. Imagine Madrid of all clubs was winning 4-1 and a player in the second half did the scoring of all three goals to draw the match. It is still something that I never expected. A lot of surprises from this season matches.
