This is the truth though. The current squad does not consist of players good enough to compete with Real Madrid. Real Madrid has built the squad for the next 5 years and they have a super-functioning system, but Barcelona is far from this. The young talents coming from La Masia are taking the team to a certain level, but after that, transfer and budget are a must. You cannot always bring out young and quality players like Yamal, and the efforts of Xavi, who added him to the team, cannot be ignored. Real Madrid managed to use its economic power correctly. Although Madrid gave away too many chances in the first half, they managed to recover in the second half. They were much more effective in the second half, and even if Kobel had had a bad day, the match would have ended with a score of 4-5 goals. Although Kobel conceded 2 goals, he prevented 3 goals. It was an emotional match for Kroos as well as for Reus. The winner was Real Madrid. I'm sure those who said Borussia Dortmund wouldn't make it out of the groups at the beginning of the year were very surprised.

I just see it very simple for now. Real Madrid is bringing Mbappe this summer. They are preparing to announce him even before Euro 2024 probably.
