Real Madrid was poor in the first half. They were static, slow, and misplaced too many passes. But, the second half improved after Ancelotti made some good subs. It's great management by him after a lackluster first half. The decision to put Endrick and Brahim on in the second half improved our gameplay a lot.

Laughable post honestly. I don't even know what to say but giggle. Well, my own addition and opinion I'll comment on would be about Kylian Mbappe's best position. From the game today, I want to say that he Kylian Mbappe is best effective from the left wing and not as a central forward.

I agree that Mbappe is mostly effective from the left but that would mean taking Vini out of that wing and we all know Vini is not effective at all on the right. As things stand, Ancelotti is going to find a way for things to work because both Vini and Mbappe are too valuable to be on the bench and the only solution I see is for Mbappe to keep playing from the middle. I believe with time there will be more understanding.
As for Mbappe, ill prefer he starts learning how to be a centre forward because his pace is his biggest strength and as he ages, that pace will reduce and if he doesn't evolve it will be a problem for him. The same way Ronaldo evolved would be the best decision for Mbappe right now.

Mbappe position in Real Madrid is a tough problem for Ancelotti. There is a meme on social media that with Mbappe, Vinicius and Rodrygo, the attacking system of Real Madrid skew seriously to the left and on the right, they only have Dani Carvajal for that swing.

It is only a meme but somewhat it shows current problems in Real Madrid. They still lack of a good striker after Ronaldo and Benzema leave their club some seasons ago. Girona are how back to their main settings, is not about missing a player or replacing the players they sold out is about maintaining that performance of last season and they know quite alright that if they let go of their best they can't perform well so why sell? This is on them and I was expecting them to do better against Atletico Madrid but nothing positive came out with no goal registered.
I think this Girona side are really back to how we know them and they're not even going to finish in the top 4 or even the top 6 depending on how the other teams play out their games. I wonder how they're going to perform in the champions league, maybe they're going their to give every team in their group 3pt then be eliminated from the group stage, not yet writing them off but what I saw tonight is not encouraging.

It's just business... strictly business , I mean they gotta keep on making something out of the club if they don't have any trophy even though I don't like the idea of limiting themselves.
 I don't think they got a better replacement during the transfer window despite the fact they knew they will be playing in UCL 2024/2025 and they will be needing extra squad which should be better than that of Laliga's last season, they went on playing dumb selling players without proper replacement, now they can't even compete in Laliga like they did some months back, well I still believe everything is still fresh:) , maybe they are just gonna focus on UCL only who knows...

even though they won this game, they've not played to the expectation of the fans who felt they could easily thrash out a minor opponent as this with lees stress. The team has obviously one of the best combinations of players if not currently the best combination of quality players that when compaired head to head with most other teams at laliga, premier league and almost all the leagues can't produce a match that's equivalent to the Madrid team. There play mostly reminds me of the PSG team that had the likes of Messi, mbape, Neymar jnr and the rest and still experience this kind of things in Thier games. Fortunate for them, they still found a way of getting three points which is what matters most at the end of the day.
