Julian Alvarez just arrived Spain before the season kicked off and hasn't played up to ten matches this season and shouldn't be judged by his few appearances for Athletico Madrid, though his performances so far for Athletico Madrid has not been as impressive as everyone expected for a player of his caliber but all I can say is that Julian Alvarez is a quality player and will always remain that world class player we all know him for when he was at Manchester city and when he plays for his national team. Julian Alvarez was part of the team that won the FIFA world cup with Argentina in Qatar a couple of years ago, and he also went on to win the UEFA champions league with Manchester City and so many other laurels with his former club and I think with time he will show the same quality he had when he was at Manchester city but for now I think it's too early to start talking about his performances at the moment because he needs time to adapt to his new club and the league entirely.

Honestly these guys need to wake up because they were among those teams that did well last season and seeing them playing like a team that was promoted to the senior division for the first time is worrisome. Girona are too good to see them struggle in a league that they're familiar with, imagine how they played against ATM without getting a goal and it hurt to support a team that we all thought would be champions last season but at the end they lost that composure of getting points from all corners.
They did very well to finish in the top 4 to grant them the opportunity to play in the champions league and now the pressure other teams faced when they (Girona) were dominating the league and staying on top of the table will show how capable they are to endure the pressure of playing different competitions. Is better to see them play in the champions league than only the domestic competitions, I want to see that strength they have.

Maignan is a goalkeeper with good reflexes, but when talking about replacing Thibaut Courtois, I think Real Madrid should choose a younger goalkeeper considering that Usai Maignan is now 29 years old and is not a good long-term choice to defend Real Madrid. Yes that is what Julian Albarez needs most at the moment is time to adapt to his new teammates. Alvarez joined Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid after breaking his two-year relationship with Manchester City, but he has yet to shine in the few matches he has played for the club. After much debate regarding Hansi Flick, now he has proven that under his guidance Barcelona can become a strong team again. I personally think, if for example Hansi Flick can consistently maintain his team's performance, I'm sure Barcelona has a big chance of becoming champions in Laliga this season. Because if you look at Barcelona's current rival (Real Madrid), you could say their performance is still uncertain. So this could be a big opportunity for Barcelona to reclaim the LaLiga title from Real Madrid. The reason is that currently Barcelona has started the season very well, because sweeping the 4 matches they have played with a win can be said to be quite extraordinary. This is different from Real Madrid, which is having a really hard time starting this season well, even though they have brought in great players like Mbappe. Every possible leagues in Europe have challenges that ought to be overcome, we understood that one better. Favorites are Los Blancos, Blaugrana and Los Colchoneros are Champions in Spain, their pattern of football is very different from the rest players. It's been a competitive run these clubs because they're no average club but top clubs. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are mainly the competitive clubs for the La Liga title this season, there's absolutely no difference Ten years ago and today. It's always been the same clubs qualifying for the first, second and third position on the league table.

The problem with fans and some football analyst is that as soon as a player who has been in a good performance signs for a new team they just want to start seeing results almost immediately and this is exactly what happened to Kylian Mbappe, when he played about two games and couldn't score for Madrid, a lot of people started questioning why he hasn't scored yet but as he scored in their game against Real Betis they started praising him again. One thing we should know is that the La Liga and the premier league has different play patterns if you are a good observer and besides Atletico Madrid is a team that requires a lot of time before a new player can understand their pattern of football so there's nothing to worry about the current performance of Alvarez as he is going to get familiar with the club in due time and bring positive results so people should just learn how to chill when a player is signed to a new club and doesn't meet the expectations of fans and the club yet.
