Perfecto! Why bench him for not scoring a penalty? Its okay for a player to have a bad season,  but I'm certain he'll be back to break the ankles of all these defenders in La Liga. Even  Mbappe accepted his fault in their last game which they lost 2-1 to  Bilbao regarding the penalty he missed in the 68 minutes but that's not enough reason Ancelotti to keep a player like Mbappe on the bench. We all know that Mbappe is a good and talented player may be he is just having some difficult time in the club may be he has really blend with the team system of play, he should only be given some little time to prove his Worth in Real Madrid.

It will be unprofessional for any coach to bench a player for missing goals and penalties, I haven't seen any professional coach do that and it wouldn't make any sense if Anceloti do it, people will view it like they are trying to get back on Mbape because he refused to honour their transfer back in 2021/2022 but left to me, this is a phase for Mbape and it's going to come to pass, even the best players do have bad moments and they bouce back.
