Real Madrid is still in the title race because Real Madrid is only 3 behind Barcelona where Real Madrid still has the opportunity to catch up because there are still many matches left. For that, the competition in the title race will be much more interesting because they must be able to perform better otherwise the chances will be much more difficult.

Barcelona certainly succeeded in taking advantage of the 26th match by winning 3 points when they silenced Real Sociedad with a score of 4-0. With this victory, Barcelona took over the leadership of the standings from Atletico Madrid and was able to widen the points difference with Real Madrid to 3 points and 1 point with Atletico Madrid. Given the many matches left, it is possible that these three teams will exchange places in the standings every week.

What I can say now is that Barcelona have more chances and desire to win the title, they are playing as a whole team, doing a great job minimizing their mistakes and performing well, while Real Madrid in the other side seems to be repeating the same errors mainly in their defensive lines. I believe those three points are enough to keep Barcelona ahead for a while until the El Classico match. Frankly speaking, If Ancelotti continues with his stubborn head like last clash between them, I expect Barcelona to secure another convincing win and take a bigger advantage.

However, Real Madrid is still in the title race with just 3 points behind. They have plenty of matches left which means the competition will only get more difficult. Each game will be important, and if they can tighten up their performance maybe they could very well catch up when Barcelona drop a point. The title will be played until the last match of LaLiga which is just more fun for us.

Real Madrid now facing very competitive time. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid now ahead from real Madrid in the terms of points. Real Madrid is a very good team and they have a lot of reputation, they are also doing very well in the Champions League, Real Madrid is my favorite team in the La Liga series. It is quite doubtful that we still have El Clasico in the next matches.

After an impressive performance both in the champions league and the la Liga, Madrid chose to disappoint the manager and the fans. Against Real Betis it wasn't suppose to go down the way it did but a draw would have been better but they lost 2-1. Winning this game would have given Madrid an opportunity to stay at the top of the league table while they wait for ATM (that won their game) and Barcelona to play at least it would have made ATM and Barcelona to play a desperate football just to take the lead but that loss gave ATM high momentum to play their game and it favored them with a 1nil victory. Well, I've never wanted Real Madrid to win the league but Barcelona and I expect Barca to do everything possible to get all 3pt from Real Sociedad, it won't be easy but I feel Barcelona won't mess up this opportunity of topping the table with a point gap between them and ATM and 3pt between them and Madrid.

I will not only blame the players on Real Madrid poor performance yesterday I will also blame the coach because he is the one who caused it, I know that Real Madrid players did not play well yesterday but Ancelotti is the one the stubborn manager I have ever see, if not that the coach also wants Real Betis to defeat Real Madrid why will he start Alaba and Rudiger together in a match where they need to win, Alaba and Rudiger are just coming back from injury and if not because they rush them they never reach to come back and Ancelotti decides to start two players that come back from injury in a tough match.

When I saw the line, I knew that Real Betis would defeat Real Madrid because if you look at Alaba and Rudiger even in the last season they could not play well but Rudiger and Asenso's performance is always good because Asenso is still young and can tackle and Rudiger can control the game, is very difficult to see Real Madrid get defeated if Asenso is in the game, I know that some people will say the injury of Cebalos is among what affect Madrid yesterday but the defensive position of Real Madrid is very poor, Real Madrid is out of title race and as I Real Madrid fan I will like to see Real Madrid out of Champions League so that Ancelotti should get sacked, Ancelotti has tried enough and he needs to leave, Real Madrid next match is against Atletico Madrid in Champions League I still believe that Atletico Madrid can defeat Real Madrid.

The manager did what he felt was good for the team, starting players who came back from injury together is something he needed to do because these guys have been playing together before the injury so they have need to get that connection back again as quickly as possible because they still have bigger challenges ahead of them, mind you the champions league that they value that much is on its way so the manager need everybody to be up to speed.
Like I said the manager did what he had to do for the team to be up to the form that they were before injury took over, you know these managers have this idea of benching some of his best for the game ahead and not to have any issues when it matters the most, the line up has nothing to do with their loss in that game against Betis, only thing is that Betis came prepared and their form is better compared to Madrid so it had to be but I know Madrid will bounce back after the champions league game.

I will still continue to say it that playing with 10 men is a very huge task to maintain, it isn’t easy at all .. almost all those team have faced similar fate aswell. You are right that yes there would have been small chances, but realistically speaking I think Barcelona would have taken it down anyway. Same result? I don't know. I think I will really have to agree with you because right now Asencio and Rudiger seems to be a better pair than Rudiger and Alaba. It's not because Asencio is better than Alaba no, it's because both Rudiger and Asencio has been playing together for more than half a season now and I think they have a better understanding of each other than Alaba who's just returning from injury. Actually I think real madrid do not show much interest in wining their league, moreover I think they are much interested in wining the champions league this season because their performance in their previous match against real betis was not impressive at All, so this makes me think that maybe they're more interested in wining the champions league this season than that of their normal league. Because their performance during the champions league is always different from when they're playing in their league, though I may be right or wrong but whatever their intentions is. The only advice I can give to them is that they shouldn't take any trophy for granted. Because thier possibility of winning the champions league this season is still 0% reason been that they still have a long way to go.

Honestly with the type of midfielder that real Madrid lined up today I am not surprised that they lost. Yes it understandable that they coach is also trying to have a solid team for their match against Athletico Madrid in the mid week but going by how solid Real betis has been lately I will say that they underrated then too much and they paid fge costly price.

But man, it is so difficult to defend this Barcelona you know. They didn't even let Real Sociedad take a shoot. It is really nice to see Hansi Flick's Barcelona not having any difficulties even against teams playing completely defensively. Now the gap with Real Madrid is 3 points.

Yeah, that's truly the magnificent mile by the Catalan side. They just dominated the game, whether it's through possession or it through goals. Literally, they just attempted 30 shots on goal and made 12 corners. While their opponent didn't even attempt a single shot. Like, due to strong defensive tactics, Barcelona didn't let his opponent to attempt even single shots. Gerard Martin, M Casado, Arojo, and Levi make the brace through from Barcelona side. Dani Olmo claimed the main of the match, and all of the rest of the players played brilliantly.

After we look at how Barcelona performed last night and how strong Atletico is on La Liga, I also admit Real Madrid changed the realistic target from La Liga thropy to Champions League tittle. However, I do not agree that they only have to focus on the Champions League because that tournament has tighter competition from La Liga. Real Madrid will face a much stronger club than La Liga if they can't maintain the same level as the local league. Real Madrid must make an effort to marry Champions and La Liga titles like the previous session. Their competition squad is better than before. There is Mbappe, who was not in the squad in the previous session, and the realistic is Real Madrid should have won many titles in this session.
