First of all if the stats is only about the league alone then yes he has never scored beyond five goals but overall competition he had like 15 this season. Personally if Barcelona is capable I think the lad will be a good addition to the club because with Ansu Fati departure to AS Monaco they have more depth issue in their squad. The left wing position to be precise is a very big problem for them because it was occupied last season by Raphinha although it wasn’t it favourite position,

Saying that they did well last season and there for do not need reinforcement this season isn’t true to me, I think upon that exceptional season they were lacking in many departments and we all saw that with the injury to Yamal where they struggled to stay on top then not until he came back from injury. Rodrygo is currently being targeted by many parties, but it seems that he still wants to stay at Real Madrid even though he is not Xavi Alanso's main choice because he will most likely be a starter from the bench. Another news just came out that his registration is probably on hold due to  some reasons from Nico William himself s, Fabrizio also made a post about it I think.. Rodrigo doesn't look like that guy that will be leaving Real Madrid soon. I will rather believe the judgement of the club than listening to all this sentiments without any atom of fact about Rodrigo. Something must have piss him off for some Real Madrid guys coming for his wife before the end of the season but I believe he is going to stay at least for now. Unless Mbape is willing to go back to wing, nobody handles that wing side like him despite the last season performance.

Not every season players get to show off their best form. Rodrigo hasn't gotten a worse season since 3 years back not until Mbape came and everything became horrible. It seems that Xabi alonso is not liking Rodrigo to be the part of their team, and therefore real madrid were on a mind  to sell him for good value. And there were many Premier League teams that are waiting for Rodrigo to make an exit from real madrid in order to catch him. From onset, Nico's mind has been with Barcelona and his friend Yamal than any other club. Nico has offered several wage cut in order to have himself be with Barca and his friend. The only acceptable reason for Barcelona to deny Nico the opportunity to play is Camp Nou is the financial restrictions or fair play.

There performance last season was really incredible but if you ask me I will still suggest they make arrangements for new players not just new players but rather quality ones and it is going to help them in one way or the other so they should try and get players regardless because it can be possible that what they played last season they may not be able to play to that extent again in next season. Even though Nico William has not scored 10 goals in any season I believe he is a talented player and sometimes players can be unfortunate and this can make them look like they are not good and sometimes club is one of the factor that contribute to that.

It would be interesting to know how much money Real Madrid are asking for because in my opinion Rodrygo, just like his teammate Vinicius Juni, is quite overrated. He's been playing for Real Madrid for years and yet he never managed to actually become a starter. He scored some important goals but I wouldn't say he's ever been an important player. Probably they're going to ask 80-90 millions, at least, I would never pay that amount of money.
