It's because his squad can hardly be improved with any transfers. Ter Stegen will have to go undergo surgery, but they have another one and I think they will leave it at that. It seems surprising how you show your support I mean this is the first statement I have seen supporting Rashford for the whole day while on X I see a lot of drag about Rashford I guess the hate is coming from Manchester United fans obviously we all know how Rashford performed poorly playing for United during late times. Well, Barcelona is a different team entirely and I also think he’ll improve, this is an opportunity for him to sit up and prove his worth also staying around competitive teams and good players can help improve his performance better.

You can talk about Rashford fall but can not deny that he is a very talented player, we have seen Anthony move from  Manchester United to Real Betis and become Betis star player. Only this is not because of the FFP rules but because of the La Liga regulation that Barcelona must comply with the 1:1 rule, i.e. in order to pay Rashford's salary they must free up the wage bill by the same amount. Barcelona made several transfers and sales, but as I read in the news, they used up all the limits, i.e. spent everything exactly in a 1:1 ratio. In this situation, some players need to be let go. It's not hard to imagine that after Marcus Rashford's arrival, some players will be let go to create contract space. I believe Barcelona could loan some players to major European clubs or even send them to Saudi Arabia first and then sell them. If Barcelona can't create contract space for Marcus Rashford, they won't be able to sign him. I'm sure Hansi Flick has submitted some reports to the management on this matter.
