We can’t say both of them will definitely win the league next season although they both have a combined almost 90% chance of winning it but Atletico Madrid is always there to give them an headache if both of them gets a bad season Atletico have won like 2 Laliga in the last 10 years if I can guess correctly so we cannot utterly just rule them out even though with this current squad I don’t think they can actually win it but they have to be in the equation. For now Barcelona as the reigning champions have the most odds to actually win the title because Real Madrid are not looking too ready already for this season even with the little additions they have made.

Barcelona looks more like they are going  to be the favourite  for the season,  they look more confident than Madrid, even with the squad I see that Madrid has now I still believe Barcelona is going to do better than this season than they did last season. As we can see , the La Liga title is mostly rotated between Barcelona and Real Madrid and looking at the structure of both teams, it isn't certain as to which one of them will win the title next season because despite that Barcelona won the title last season but i think it will be a different experience since Real Madrid have changed their coach to Xabi Alonso which will make Real Madrid to either upgrade in performance or decline. Though Xabi Alonso was not successful in the Club World Cup that Real Madrid played but we can't test his ability using the CWC games. The new season will soon start, after the first half of the season we will know which side the title will be pointing at.

Very difficult because every new season comes with its level of surprises. What you thought would become of a team might end up, somehow, for them in a way you never imagined.

Nobody thought Barcelona would later become a tough team when Xavi left, not to mention the lack of funds to buy quality players at the time. But we have seen countless times when smaller teams in the Laliga do win the likes of  Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid. When you say tougher, are you referring to physicality or the number of teams competing to win the league? That aside, we have also seen countless times when the premier League teams struggle to beat Spanish teams. Spanish teams has always had the upper hand when teams from both leagues meet. Each leagues has their peculiarities, I don't see the need for this comparisons.

It's been reported that Flick has handed Barcelona players more stricter rules, now there will be no more partying for Barcelona players so long as the season is still on, personally, I believe this might come in after the saga of Yamal's birthday party few weeks ago.
