Real Madrid finally defeated Barcelona today after failing to beat them in their last five matches, extending their lead in the league to five points.
I’m really happy that Real Madrid won, especially since it’s the team Arda Güler plays for.
This victory is also great for the team’s confidence because they hadn’t managed to beat Barcelona for a long time.
Arda Güler wasn’t at his best in this match, but he still played decently.

I said today, as a neutral viewer of the match, that i give the advantage to Real Madrid, and i even bet on their win. It was an excellent game with plenty of chances. Mbappe’s first goal, which was disallowed, was a really nice volley, but just a few millimeters decided it was offside. I like that Alonso is giving Guler a chance because it’s in matches like these that stars are made , and Arda Güler certainly is one. He wasn’t at his best, but he still played very well. Vinicius also caused a lot of problems on the wing.All in all, it was a good match, and Real now has a pretty solid lead. Today I saw a different Madrid in this El Clasico game, they played like they used to back then in the good old days when we have Messi and Ronaldo competing for who's the best. Good game but something Alonso did that got me worried, changing Vinicius Jr, today hw was atbhis best for me, running, dribbling and being fouled without complaining and he was the danger man for the Barcelona side but Alonso offended him by taking him off, it would have cost them the 3pt because as soon as Vinicius Jr left the field Barcelona started attacking even the defenders had to take a break and was attacking too, what went wrong with Alonso today?

Actually, seeing Vinicius Jr. substituted is quite common. But this time, the timing didn't seem right. I think Vini Jr. should have been given more time in the second half. However, I'm sure there's something else we don't understand here, but Alonso saw it. Especially since we know Vini Jr. is a player who can get emotional quickly. And perhaps Alonso thought that if he wasn't substituted immediately, the opposing team might start doing something that would make Vini Jr. explode. I'm sure Alonso took the risk for a good cause.

For me this game is one of the best I have seen Vinicius Jr play this season I'll say it again and he was calm and in control of whatever they'll throw at him, he played like he's not seeing any other player other than himself. Alonso read the game wrongly and if Vinicius Jr wwnted to lose his cool it would have been in the first half when Pedri held him in his jersey when he was on his bike to get a goal but Vinicius Jr didn't say a word, we know how he behaves when such situations comes up so why take him out when playing against Barcelona? I was expected to take off Guler  and bring in Rodrygo, that would have been a tough one for Barcelona defenders to handle but that move wasn't right for me.

Real Madrid finally managed to defeat Barcelona 2–1, ending their poor run in El Clasico matches. I think Xabi Alonso has done a great job, and they fully deserved to win today. Barcelona actually played well too, with Hansi Flick once again implementing a high defensive line, but they just weren’t lucky enough.
Mbappe and Bellingham displayed the quality needed to make the difference, although it was quite disappointing to see Mbappe miss a penalty. I'm not sure to put Casado in the starting lineup to bring significant change in the match. It even could make Barcelona to be more difficult to control the ball possession. De Jong - Pedri - Fermin Lopez is the best option for Barcelona midfield nowadays. However, Real Madrid has strong midfielders and defenders, it is actually the reason that Barcelona didn't get much opportunities in attacking. Meanwhile Real Madrid attackers are quite strong, they won't easy to focus on attacking, they must also prepare for defending them.
