I don't see anything special about Vinicius Junior, he has some influence on the game but not enough to make a big scoreline. He doesn't seem to contribute much to making Real Madrid's attack line more solid. He is known as a left winger for Real Madrid, we don't get the amount of ball passes from him that we should. He is very lazy to create scoring chances. He is a talent, Xabi Alonso will have to work hard with him. Real Madrid's attack line is very weak now, especially the wingers.

Someone from my point of view, Vinicius seem more like he is chasing personal goals and so that is affecting his performance and leading to that lazying that you mentioned, except it is for an assist or to get him a goal, there is this level of reluctance with his approach to these games and so he perfoms the way we see him do. Real Madrid's performance is not bad as it seems, the only reason why it is becoming a problem is because they are not at the top of the table and we should also consider that Barcelona has also been relentless in their performance so it is not easy for Real Madrid. Vinicius is not that kind of person because from the look of thing I have see how he has helped mbappe a lot and sometimes I feel he even prioritize mbappe more than him self. So to me his not a selfish player at all. Just that most times his always relaxed and does not want to do much compare to how he was serious. And if it is about is levelof reluctance I actually agree with you on that. Because his level of consistency  have dropped. And maybe he wants mbappe to be the star player maybe that his why his not putting much effort, we miss the Vinicius we use to see not the one we are see now,  but he seems his doing it deliberately. And we know how talented that Vinicius is so imagine him playing according to his talent. And they will be a perfect combo with Mbappe we can wait to see that combo. I am surprised here that Barcelona has not been able to score a goal so far, the entire squad of Barcelona is in attack, yet the players of Barcelona have not been able to reach the ball inside the goalpost of the opposing Guadalajara team. This match is so competitive that the Guadalajara team is putting Barcelona under pressure, Barcelona will be ready to score a goal at any time in this match but it is only a matter of time. This season, every team performs well and tries to show their best performance to the audience, which is being proven in this match. I thought this match would end with a much higher margin, but Barcelona will win, but it may be by a small margin.

You might be right truly, although at that time, I was among the few persons who actually wanted him to leave since I felt he wasn't treated right by Alonso because of the lack of game time. Then their was Various rumours of him leaving and I was in support of it. After the transfer window ended and he was mostly an unused substitute, I was like, you should have left in the summer and right now you would have gotten a better player chance. But it seems his starting to get back into the main squad and I hope his form comes back because I really like that guy and his commitment to Real Madrid.

I'm not too that focus on the stay of Rodrygo, but the most important thing is for the club to acknowledge the fact that he stayed. Because we can tell that, it was not easy for him, even though clubs where coming right after him, he chooses to stay, this is something that the club needs to respect from his decision. Now we can see the impact of him as he tend perform better in every game he is on the pitch. The only problem in Real Madrid, is to work on their performance in every game, and if they can do that, and not to think of the team that are superior to win, then they will tend to play more better. Hope they can come back and fully well prepared to compete for the league title.

Vinicius is faster, maybe not the fastest in the world currently. Rodrigo is technically built, but not as fast like him. Everyone underrated him (which is unnecessary). I think I love him as a player, but if I was in the situation where Madrid is, I would play Vinicius, bench Rodrigo. Real Madrid doesn't have strong left back, right back, and an experienced central back player. The sad part is Vinicius has been average too. I think it's similar to salah story. if the team has no connection and balance, even top players looks average.

Vinicius on the other hand lacks the ability to stay consistent. Everyone watches him and they all see he really doesn't do much until very crucial moments like their last match against Alavés. If they keep competing on this level, waiting on individual moments instead of a consistent play style so they can win comfortably, is gonna hurt the total outcome.

It is undeniable that this match was quite difficult for Madrid because Alaves also played quite well, it's just that 2 goals from Mbappe and Rodrygo managed to make them get back 3 points and create new momentum.

Actually, this is a bit complex, and that's a very good thing because Xabi can have several options to prepare in his squad.

btw Alaves' goal I think is very good with a long pass which is not really expected because Madrid tried to do an offside trap but ended up failing only in this match even though Alaves played well but Madrid's defense including Valdepenas' debutant performance is quite worthy of appreciation.

Now I think Xabi needs to consider further Rodrygo who really needs to be given more opportunities in an ideal position because previously he was placed in many positions that were not ideal positions for Rodrygo which made the situation a little more complicated but with a debut goal this season even though it was a little late it should be able to increase his confidence.
Vini actually didn't do too well in this match and to be honest I'm still more impressed with Jude's performance than Vini's but that 1 assist was enough to make his name a little bit raised because in the beginning he played too much of the ball but it didn't have a big impact on the club's game.

The Alaves goal wasn't luck - it was earned. They waited for the intensity of Madrid to decrease and hit the space behind. That's smart football. And frankly, that brought another issue to light that Madrid can't keep turning away from itself: if the midfield doesn't press, the high line is a liability. I do think Valdepenas had a good debut though. For a teenager to be thrown into an away game at a ground where Alaves have taken almost all their points this season, he did his job. Not flashy, but reliable. The sort of player that allows Rudiger to push up a bit more. If he continues to develop, he might be a real solution to the Alaba/Mendy injury mess.

Rodrygo is who I keep coming back to. His goal wasn't just a moment - it was proof of what happens when he's allowed to play centrally. He's wasted on the touchline. Alonso has to see that by now. If there's one tactical tweak that won't involve signing a player in January, it's this.

The only time Valdepenas made a mistake was when the offside trap failed due to poor communication between himself and Rudiger but that wasn't entirely Valdepenas' fault either.
He's a pretty good young player to date although his original position is Center back but he was also quite impressive in his debut to be a left back.
If you really want to try to project young players like Asensio, he is quite decent but the competition for left-back is difficult because there are Carreras, Mendi and Fran Garcia so maybe if you want to project him then he can be a player in his original position because Alaba and Rudiger are quite old for now and the injury is also a little disturbing.

Rodrygo's role against Alaves is actually not a pure position but it cannot be denied when his confidence has been built then indeed he can play more optimally.

Vinicius Jr. has played 17 games this season, scoring 5 goals and providing 5 assists. This is not a good performance for a player who earns a good salary at Real Madrid. If Real Madrid continues to have strikers with such weak performances, then the team will hardly have a strong attack. Just look at what happens when Mbappé can't score goals; it seems like all the other strikers aren't even on the field playing, even though they are. It's a very problematic situation that the coach needs to resolve soon.

He is doing more of testing than fixing the problem and it's not helping the team. How many times has Anceloti played the same players with different formation, if you don't pay attention hardly are you going to know what he has been playing, it's going to be the same team but different formation for different teams for away and home.

I am happy he brought Rodrigo into the game, things have change, this will make Vinicious bring down his ego and come do what he is supposed to do from the beginning. He is hidding and it's hurting the team, I don't know what is stopping him but there is more than what he giving the team now than what he can actually help the team. If attention is shifted to Rodrigo and Mbpae, he will come out of the shell and play like he used to in the past seasons.
