I just wonder why Hansi Flick kept Yamal on the pitch for 90 minutes... There was no need for it after getting 2-0 ahead against Espanyol in the first half.

You know that they have a rematch to play against Atletico Madrid in the CL only 2 days later! Yamal is the key player for Barcelona obviously.

I hope we don't see a tired and struggling Yamal in that match. I would really like to see a comeback by them.

Sevilla is fighting to stay in the league. By defeating Atlético Madrid, Sevilla managed to secure a crucial three points against a major rival. With this victory, they raised their points total to 34 and caught their breath a bit.

Barcelona has rained points in their recent matches by winning matches in La Liga and I am also waiting for their date but it is a pity that they are in a lot of trouble in the Champions League which depends on their performance. Their performance in this match was also good and it was easy for them to succeed, due to which they will be fixed in this position by getting 3 points from here. If they play their next match well, they can save themselves and this will be an advantage for them if they really want to save themselves. Atletico Madrid's performance is also a confusion because they never let a strong team succeed and sometimes they lose points against a weak team. Lamine Yamal is such a talented footballer and it appears he's born with football because of the way he plays it, he dribble with so much ease. If he continue this way definitely he will win the Balloon D'or award some day but for him to win that they have to step up in the champions league because, last time I think it was because of champions league that made Dembele won the award. I like him for so many reasons. The fact he is a young lad and super ambitious is one thing I like about him. Yamal is not even 20 yet but I can see all the potentials and energy he is bringing to the entire team. He’s been so contributory and result driven and the only thing which separates him from his kinds is he’s a very smart player at his young age but I still need him to be patience and perseverance if he wants to go far. Ballon d’or is not a reward you get because of your tactics or your talent alone, there are so many other factors equally considered during the cause of such process, so many other things are considered as part of the criterion to become a winner of the Ballon d’or

It's game over for Real Madrid because they're not serious this season in winning the title this season due to their inconsistencies and change of coaches. Barcelona deserves to lift up the trophy because they have shown a lot of commitment and determination in all their matches. I hope that Real Madrid can workout something out of nothing in the Champions League second leg quarter final game against Bayern.

Real Madrid are an absolute mess this season, their last match against girona really showed how unserious they are at the moment. Girona are not in form because most of their key players are injured and coupled with the fact that real Madrid had home advantage thwy weren't able to win. This poor performance from them was really unexpected hopefully they will get better next season.

Seriously, we messed up this season again. Real Madrid are still going to end this season without winning any trophy. Just imagine a team like Real Madrid ending the season without winning a single trophy it is something shameful.Even if some of Real Madrid’s key players are currently injured, I still don’t see any reason for them to lose that match to Girona FC, because I believe that Real Madrid still have much better players than Girona based on market value. So what I mean is that even Real Madrid’s second eleven should be better than Girona.

Currently, I don’t know the problem that Real Madrid are facing, because they have quality players. So their problem is not the players, but maybe the manager. If they have a manager who can manage well, Real Madrid deserve to be winning trophies more than  Barcelona. I don’t see Barcelona having as much squad value as Real Madrid. Barcelona have not been able to sign many quality world class players because of the financial crisis they are facing, but they are still doing so well.Last season, despite not being able to strengthen their team, they were able to win trophies, and this season again they are likely to win La Liga.Real Madrid really need to find a solution to their problems. If not, what is happening this season may be what they will still face next season, inconsistency always.

Keeping Yamal on the pitch for the full 90 minutes when the game was already under control at 2- 0 didn’t really make sense. At that point, the smart thing would have been to rest him, especially knowing they have a very important Champions League game coming up in just two days. Yamal is clearly one of Barcelona’s key players right now and overplaying him like that could affect his performance in the next match. Fatigue is real and in big games like that, you need your best players fresh and sharp.

You can't blame him, it's the you guys that will still come and blame him for removing Yamal and not finishing the match. You can see clearly that Madrid are not close to them again but they are also trying to be careful. If they lose any match from here, it will awaken Real Madrid like they have a chance in winning the Laliga but since they kept the energy and finish well, they don't want to take any risk now and lose the match later especially how hot some teams have became.

The way Espanyol was retaliating and was given counter attack, it will be a wrong move to remove Yamal from the match. They have fumble against Atletico in the flesh leg but I believe the second leg will not be a problem. This is not the first time the team has lose in the first leg and later won the second leg. If the team isn't compromised and lose players to injury, they can win Atletico in the second leg.

Lamine Yamal is a very easy player and his stamina is very good, a two-day break is enough for him to recover, so you don't need to worry, unlike older players they have much lower stamina and are not strong enough to last a long match so they need to rotate players to maintain their stamina.

You are right but he still has about 3 days to rest and regain all energy back or are you saying someone can not regain energy lost after 3 days?  Of cause someone can especially if it is your thing and football is there thing and some of them tran almost every day just to improve on their performance so I don't think it will affect him in anyway as long as he doesn't had an injury because injury is the major reason some coach reserve players and I know for sure that the dude is good. Moreover, Lamine Yamal is not a player one should worry about because he will definitely deliver.

I don’t know what Arbeloa has achieved since after Xabi left, that you think if Xabi was still at Real Madrid, he wouldn’t have achieved. Real Madrid’s performance has dropped since when Ancelotti left, as they are now just counting losses instead of going further. Even this season, the story is still the same, as they will likely finish the season without a single trophy. So, to me, I will also say Arbeloa has not achieved anything yet.

He has 15 goals and 12 assists in the league. The point difference has widened considerably, and we can already say Barcelona are champions. I understand your point about Lamine Yamal, and no doubt about that he's a young and exceptional talented footballer, and how he actually played his games shown that he still have a bright future ahead, but my problems with the Barcelona's fans are, they overhyped or hailed him as if he's theinly standout players in the Barcelona's squads, if really we are to fair enough, Raphinha has been performing very well with consistent and hardworking throughout this season. He has contributed alots to the team's success and need to be more recognized than Yamal. Sometimes some people will make a comparison with the Messi and all this are too early for his time, Yamal is still young and this is the exact time for him to grow higher step by step, they should let him build his own legacy first than to hailing him.

Arbeloa won't achieve anything at Real Madrid anyway. I don't think his technical ability is sufficient for Real Madrid. He's just trying to bring players from the youth academy to Real Madrid; that's his only goal. Because he coached the youth team and wants to develop some players. There is someone that is forcing Arbeloa to do the things he is not interested in, some of the players that are playing among the team is not what he likes but you know, they want favorites to appear but it's their club, whatever comes later is the decisions they took. I think not, the probability of Barcelona returning back to back is very large now, their point difference is 9 for now and the remaining matches are only 7 meaning that when Barcelona is able to win in 4 more matches it is finished where the trophy is theirs.
If you look at the current conditions the next 4 matches in the Jornada continuation they will be in el clasico and if they can get a victory in the last el clasico of the season then it will make them get the trophy as well as provide a slightly painful memory because they beat Madrid as the last match before the party.
Although this is only one of many possibilities that are sure to happen, 9 points is clearly very difficult to catch up with the condition of the difference between the two clubs now although it cannot be denied that Barcelona also still has a focus on getting a victory in leg 2 against Atletico.

I don't know why he didn't subb off Lamin Jamal but there is only one reason behind it which is the next match against Atlatico Madrid at UEFA champions league competition. Like Hansi Flick keep him til 90 minutes although they already took a big lead to prepared his team for a comeback as well as observe his player like lonely Lamie Jamal will able to make a comeback or not. Except this I don't think that there would be any other reason for him to keep Lamine Jamal on the ground til 90 minutes....

Besides that Lamine Jamal have strong physical strength and definitely ths recent match against Atlatico Madrid will not be  any tired trail for Lamin Jamal because he has very good stamina. The responsibility of next leg is totally on Lamie Jamal shoulder because Raphinha is injured and others players are feels bit hazzy. Anyway let's see what happens next.

It was almost looking like xabi was about getting  the team fixed but the Management of Madrid probably was not patient enough to allow him gwt the job done, the result they expected already was not forth coming and they were left with no choice, this is my taughts, if Xabi was given some more time, it is very possible he would have been able  to get the team in a better shape than it is now.
